In showtime, when Buffy speaks telepathically to Willow and Xander, how come she has a different voice?

Some of us think it is her own voice ... but I think it was Dawn's voice ... don't ask me why though!

I get the Broadcast from Canada a day early. I've listened do it about 20 times. I'm pretty close to positive that broadcast also offered the Dawnish voice.

Why they would decide to go back to the SMG voice a day later is a gigantic mystery.
