Sigs and Avatars

I have a question. Not sure where to ask it but I cant see my sig. Even when I preview it. Or some other peoples sig and avatars. How come?
 
Go User CP, hit Edit Options, scroll down Thread Display Options and tick Show Signatures and Show Avatars boxes.
 
Its not that. Thats fine. I can see most peoples sigs. But not all. For example Buffy Summers sig i cant see and her avatar just has a link saying Buffy Summers avatar.

And when I put my sig in and preview it, i cant see it. But everyone else can.

Just wondered why.
 
If you're using Firefox, is it possible you accidentally clicked "block images from..."? I did that once at a site and it only blocked half the pics. It took me forever to figure out why they weren't showing up, lol.
 
Right click over the area where an image should be and see if anything is checked on the menu.

Or maybe it's your browser settings somehow. Because I can see you're sig.

I'm not sure if you're saying you do use Firefox or not, but if you do, click tools, then options, then content. There's an option there to block the loading of images. To see all images on a website you should have "Load Images" clicked, and "Originating website only" unclicked.

I don't think that's it though, because even if you had originating website only clicked, I'd still think you could see Avs, but I'm not 100% sure of that.
 
Thats odd. I can see my sig now. I didnt even do anything.

Still cant see some others though 🙁

Do you have a banner in your sig or just the links?

Its just Epos I have a problem seeing.
Its strange cos I noticed theres one person on another forum I cant see too. Hmm. Maybe it'll fix itself too.
 
I know when I'm at school BS, I can't see any pictures in signatures that come from Photobucket. There is just a grey square where a signature Image should be.

It's because I work in a school and some sites are blocked from viewing, so as I can't access photobucket on the schools computers, I presume you can't see their links either.

Maybe that is what Wolf can see.
 
Because Epos avatar is just a link saying Epos avatar. And last I remember she had a pic in her sig. Not just links. Hence, I cant see it 🙂
