Similar Relationships

A few days ago, I was watching the Season 3 episode, "Helpless". I could not help but notice that the Buffy/Angel interaction in this episode reminded me of another couple from the series.

The Buffy/Angel ship reminded me of none other than the Buffy/Riley relationship from Seasons 4 and early Season 5. I simply could not believe it, while I was watching the show. It never really occurred to me, until now, how much Buffy's relationship with both Angel and Riley seemed so similar in style.

Yup. I'd have to agree with you there. A lot of similarities in the whole feel and mood.

I agree aswell, their are similarites with Buffys relation with Angel that is similar with her somewhat relation ship with Spike, both Spike and Angel did the whole you are the one I've loved for blah blah blah speech. Then their is the dream in Amends where Angel is in Buffys room and they start to boink and then in S6(cant remember the ep) in Buffys dream where Spike comes to her bed and they start to boink.

I do agree with you, very similar. Well, she is the same girl...she is going to behave pretty similar in all her relationships with a few variances...

I think it is beautiful that they all loved her so much, I think it reflects on her being a sincere and loving person. That she can bring out that tender side of those different types of men..
