This is written bt Christopher Golden and is set in season 3. I really do enjoy this book. I think he captures the characters really well, sometimes not so good but its only a few times. There are a few episode references such as Joyce dating Ted and Jenny's death. It also features things from the film. Having Pike in the book was good, it looked into his character and explained Buffy's feelings for him. Its also a very good Bangel story. The demon is great and there's a very good twist to the storyline.

Has anyone else read it?

I have it was one of those books that taught me that I can always trust Christopher Golden when it comes to writing these kind of books, I feel he does a great job of staying true to the characters and keeping the story interesting 🙂

I remember I loved it cause of Bangel stuff 😉 but I also appreciated getting to "see" Pike again! It's was interesting and kind of made me wish we had gotten to see him on the show... (but I guess they used up the pop-up surprise visit from Buffy's past with Ford, and probably didn't want to reference the not too popular movie too much 😉)

Yea, Christopher Golden is one of my favorite authors when it comes to the books. I've not read any of the newer books that have been published so I dont know if there are any other good authors but if anyone gets a chance to read his books then do because he's very good and making the characters match from the show 🙂

I read this one a while ago. I liked it a lot. It was what got me started on Christopher Golden.

I'm pretty sure this was the one that had Oz with a Supersoaker full of holy water? That was cool. Now I'm worried that I'm wrong. lol
