I was thinking about two different things to do with siring so I'll combine them.

If Oz, or any werewolf was to be sired what would they be? Would they be a vampire most of the time but on 3 or whatever nights a month turn into a werewolf? Or, as demons apparently "set up shop" in someones whos been sired would that side die? Could we have crazy hybrids, werewolf vampires with slayer powers and the ability to use magic?

Also, it seems that with the Fanged Four they seemed to only sire a few people, the ones they wanted. As far as we know Darla and Dru only sired Angel and Spike. However with other vampires they seem to sire everyone they can, due to the sheer amount of vampires in Sunnydale. So are the FF just odd or are most vampires overly hungry? Whats your view?

bit borin but thats ur pogrative
I might be wrong, but wasn't it mentioned at some point in time that something about a werewolf's blood prevented it from being turned? it might have been in a book, or on btvs can't remember.
as for the second, don't most of those vamps just get sired and left? FF stuck together in the beginning learning things, and they don't seem like the type to go about randomly giving out what to them was a gift. I can see random vamps saying, how cool is this, eternal life and youth and greater strength, let's share, but..they dun seem the time.
i might be wrong. but...wanted to give it a shot.

I think FF were more closely knit than most vampire groups, and they were alot more selective with who they sired. They would only sire someone who had great potential to become a master vampire rather than someone that would get steaked by the slayer 20 seconds after they had risen from their gaves.

Hmmm...very inetersting questions...of which I have no idea what the answers are, but about the FF, I'd probably agree with what Chosen 1 said...they did seem much more selective about who they sired, and about the werewolves...I have no idea...I'd probably assume faith5x5 was correct, but I'd like to see a Vampire werewolf! Vampwolves!

Well we know that 2 demons cant inhabit the same body, like we saw in S2 of Buffy where that demon tried to take over Angels body when it jumped out of Jennys, the 2 demons fought inside and one won the other lost.

As for the others, I dont really know. Maybe the siring wouldnt work, or like in UnderWorld they would die.

A werewolf slayer..maybe they could get turned into werewolfs but maybe the blood inside them would fight off the infiction(since Slayers heal more faster and dont get big wounds as easily)

I know in D&D lycanthropy is considered a disease, and since vampirism cures all other diseases (look at Darla and Spike's mom), the person in question would cease to be a werewolf after being sired.

As for the other thing--I think a lot of the vamps (esp the ones from the order of aurilius in S1) moved to Sunnydale, and weren't "born" there. Also, it depends on the sire's agenda. If (s)he wants an army, (s)he would sire many; if (s)he wants companionship, (s)he would sire fewer.
It also may be a modern vs. classical thing. Whereas it was considered romantic and appealing to make yourself a mate and slaughter legions with him/her several centuries ago, modern culture (with its 50% divorce rate in the US) has created vamps like the one in "The Trial":

Darla: And in all this - time you've never considered making yourself a - mate?
Vampire: How do you mean?
Darla: Well, isn't it true that some vampires choose a mortal, someone they can sire, someone who, too, can walk those lonely nights, hunting with them, feeding with them, (puts her hand on his) joining with them?
Vampire looks down at her hands covering his then gives a laugh.
Vampire: No! That'd just be weird.
Darla: Weird? - It's mythic!
Vampire: (shakes his finger at her) No, you been reading too much Anne Rice lately! You've got no idea how this thing works!
Darla: Then teach me.
Vampire: Oh, what, you want me to make you?
Darla: Why do you think I came into this bar, for the snacks?
Vampire: Sweetheart, in this bar, you are the snacks.
Darla: (smiles at him) I live nearby. We can go back to my place, you can do it there.
Vampire: Y-you're serious about this. (Darla nods slightly) So what? I make you and then you'd be like my immortal babe?
Darla: Yes.
Vampire: Ah, well, that kind of sounds like commitment to me.

Just a thought.
