Just wondering if there is a reason and possible resolution to the constant 'Error Message' we keep finding when we come here.
It seems like every day now there will be for quite a while, a time we cannot access Buffy Boards or After Darkness.
For instance tonight, its been 3 hours.
It also seems pretty random too.
There have been times at 4pm(GMT) when its been off, or 7pm(GMT) or the most common 12am(GMT).
 
More than likely it's a server issue.
The host servers for both boards do tend to be a little temperamental, more often than not.
 
it is very much annoying. it drives me nuts cause sometimes im in the middle of looking at something, and then i suddenly cant get on for 3 or 4 hours.
 
Just remember to take deep breaths! Breathe in, breathe out. It's not the end of the world.

Better a tempermental BB than no BB.
 
It's the server losing connection to the database. There's nothing I can do, other than email the host again. It's sort of the price of a low cost host. Since I'm out of work at the moment, I can't afford to move us to some place more expensive.

Don't worry, Buffy. I reckon everyone knows that it's out of your control. 😉

It is annoying though. I'm only able to post at certain times at the moment (busy life!) and I seem to be trying to come on here every time the server starts playing up. Just my bad timing, I guess, lol.
 
Could everyone please try and monitor how things are in the next month here as far as the uptime and errors are concerned? Because if things don't improve we'll be switching hosts. Thanks 🙂
