Skipping episodes

I never skip an episode when I rewatch Buffy (or any tv show for that matter). It's just a thing for me: a series is complete with every episode so I just watch them all even if I like some better than others. And even if I cringe at some season 6 episodes, I watch every single one of them. It's always been like that with me, I can't skip episodes. LOL

I don't skip any, but some episodes I'll watch twice before moving on, because I love them that much.

I've never skipped while re-watching Buffy but I have skipped a lot while re-watching Angel (the early seasons most)

I recently watched OMWF 3 times. Once by myself during my rewatch, and twice with my kids.

I can't skip when I'm doing "official" re-watches, but at other times I can pick & choose and watch things out of order, etc. Chiller network had season 1 eps on last night- that was fun!

I beat you! I recently watched OMWF 5 times in a row. YAY for having it on my iPod.
I always skip episodes. In fact, I dont even think you could call it skipping because that would imply I watch them in some sort of order. I pretty much watch whatever epi appeals at the time. Ive done an entire rewatch one time and thats when I completed purchasing the dvds.

for the most part I do that too. I only sometimes do rewatches. Mostly just pick the same random episodes.
I always skip Superstar. I hate that episode. I have only seen it once and I barely made it through. I never really rewatch Season 2 though its too damn boring, only in full rewatches. Season 7 I also tend to skip alot of episodes. I mostly just watch what I think of as the Spuffy episodes.

Oh and I sometimes skip the pack just cause I tend to find it a very disturbing episode. I love it but its disturbing, so I don't always watch it.

In Angel I never skip any episodes in seasons 1-3 except for one, I Will Remember You, I hate that episode with a passion.

In season 4 and 5 I haven't done full rewatches of them only once when I was showing my mom for the first time. I always skip over "Apocolypse Nowish" and "Long Days Journey" From season four I only really watch up to "Spin the Bottle" then Jump to the Angelus arc.

In season 5 I really only rewatch You're Welcome thats it.
 
I pretty much only skip. I'll watch Tabula Rasa, then I'll watch The Zeppo, then I'll watch Becoming... I just watch whatever suits my fancy, rarely anything in order.

But, if I was actually trying to rewatch... I would skip ones that bore me to death, yeah. It doesn't really bother me. If it's boring then why watch it?

I try not to, but that happens. Although I did watch all episodes (Buffy's) many many times, so I can't say I skip many and often.
However I think I've seen Angel's "Why We Fight" not more than 1-2 times. It bores me to death! And even when I did watch it, it wasn't through the whole episode, I skipped parts of it when I don't skip it which was about 1 time or so.
 
I usally don't skip over any Buffy except the 1st season alot to be honest. I don't know once you've seen the whole series to me season 1 is like chessy in a way(with the graphics and stuff). I do still watch a couple eps from it though. my fav is "Angel".
Now as far as the Angle series go I tend to skip over alot. Like the whole 3rd and 4th season,lol. I don't know I really don't like those seasons. To be honest the only season of Anngel I really like and can watch over and over is season 5.(That's alot to do with Spike. Him and Angel together= HILARIOUS!)
 
If I'm watching through a season then I prefer not to skip episodes but sometimes I do just randomly chose episodes and seasons at a whim and then there are certainly episodes that never get chosen...
 
I'm currently watch the show for the first time (just finished S2 episode 17) and I've noticed that every episode has some significance. Even the filler episodes follow up or conclude on things that happened in the previous episode or past episodes

I don't like to skip episodes, but there are some that just bore me to tears so bad. :\ "Killed By Death" is one I hate with a passion, as well as "Some Assembly Required". A few others I have no/little love for are:
"Teacher's Pet" (even though it's a Xander-centric episode, I just don't like it. I thought it was stupid)
"What's My Line" part 1 and 2
"The Initiative"
"Doomed"
"The I in Team"
"Out of My Mind"
"Checkpoint"
"Life Serial"
"Normal Again" (I absolutely hated this whole episode and thought it felt like an insult to Buffy fans)
"Same Time, Same Place" (this episode was so freakin' boring, then it got so freakin' gross. Ew.)
"The Killer In Me"
"First Date" (I hate it on the sheer principle that Ashanti guest-starred)

100% agree regarding Normal Again. That was my reason for it being on my skip list.
I never skip episodes when rewatching. Not on any show really.
Always prefered to watch everything in order. 🙂

I was under the impression people liked IOHEFY... oh well.
And I'm also surprised about Gone. I never ever let myself skip this episode, I love it!

I think it's a very uninteresting episode myself, but it's the only episode in season 2 that I don't like, I love all the other episodes that season but I don't know, IOHEFY just doesn't cut it..

It's not a great episode, but I wouldn't skip it in my rewatching. I don't know, I just thought people liked it, I'm not saying it as a fact, just my impression 😀

O no wouldn't skip it either.. I actually thought people didn't like it that much, but I haven't done any research on it so 😛.. But that's just how I feel about, it's kind of boring...
