Something my best friend and I knocked together for a fanfic I've since abandoned. Illyria is all blue deliberately, it has to do with her power source (and a new one thereof) in the story. The other character is everyone's favorite Key, reclaiming her Old One heritage. I'm probably going to chop out the intro of Oriens (Dawn in this) and Illyria and use it for a new fic...

Thanks. We're doodling one of Cordelia lying on the canopy of the Jedi fighter from Episode 3 for one of my other stories.

Oh it is...

Cordelia was again struck by the resemblance between Mace Windu and Samuel L. Jackson from back on earth. Mace wasn't too fond of her, though. Probably owing to the time she'd loaded a crate of snakes onto his shuttle to see how he dealt with "˜mother****ing snakes on this mother****ing ship'. He had not been amused.

Love it. It makes me want to see the story you had planned. Looking forward to seeing the Cordelia stuff.

What's the max rating on fanfic here? Cuz a lot of my stuff is R-rated...

lol feel free to post it on my site's :)
Apart from Cordelia the Jedi, I don't have anything else upcoming from Skotti for art. I'm working with a few people to try and do 3D characters that resemble the Scoobies so I can make art, but that's a while away.

As for stories, I'm looking but most can't simply be downrated by removing objectionable content because that would kill the story.

Another pic Skotti dug out of our WIP pile and finished for a story I'm working on. Offshoot of the S1 episode where Cordelia gets blinded by Catherine Madison...

That is an interesting question Dzhugi asked. How does the collaboration process work? Do you do the inking, or the tech work on your Mac, or something like that?

Sorry, I have him on ignore and so all I got was "This message is hidden because Dzhugashvili is on your ignore list." The level of collab varies depending on whether it's one of my pieces or a commission piece.

My pieces, I'll either find a general pose idea from existing art or create something using Poser (a low-end 3D program, for those not in the know). I also look up references of any canon characters for her, actors/actresses from non-comic based art, etc. From there, she does the sketch either via OpenCanvas or on paper and scans it, and I begin the flat coloring. While she's inking (either digitally or by hand), I finish that and then it's layered over the PSD I make. Then I clean it up a little, we double-check to make sure I read all the parts correctly (like the part I colored as X's clothing doesn't belong to Y), then she adds the shadows and highlights. I'll save out and upload a copy to my server for posting at our mutual haunting grounds, and depending on which of us is having the least problems with DeviantArt, one of us will log in and post it. Although with my stuff, I generally end up going in to edit the descriptions with character information and history.

Commission pieces, I'm generally the front end as far as payment, questions about what's allowed, etc. I do represent myself as her IF someone doesn't seem to connect that my email is "Joseph" and the artist is "Skotti" (and yes it's happened), but with her permission and just to keep people from trying to end-run me and bother her with the things she wants me to handle for her. I generally don't touch any of the coloring or reference work because the commissioner provids the refs and she'll have both my and someone else's projects going on at once, and so my attention is on my stuff.
