So they actually did it? That really sucks. But it also means Alister was wrong 😛 He said it was just a bluff.
 
yeah, that's the only good thing about it...Al was wrong! lol
it really sucks...Sky One is the ONLY channel that i watch, apart from Sci Fi. Virgin Meria are gonna lose a LOT of customers now.
i'm thinking of shelling out for one of those Freeview boxes, but i don't know if they have Sky One. 🙁

It sucks, totally but isn't it only for a limited time until Sky and Virgin Media strike a deal over the channels?
 
when you switch the channel to Sky, it says something like 'Sky have taken away there channel.' or something. they're making it out to be Sky's fault. but Richard Branson has to know that Sky One's such a big channel, they'll have to bring it back eventually...she's says hopefully.

in the mean time, i'm having Bones withdrawl.
 
I was (and still am) so distraught about no more lost and 24!!! I did some research. APPARENTLY sky wanted more money, because they've been spending more money the shows on sky one. Virgin media didnt want to pay more , and then the whole bitchiness between each other, blaming each other and that crap started. how did it come to this! lol. virgin media are apparently goin to put the rest of lost series 3 on their on demand thing later i the year....but I cant wait for that!

I'm gonna have to watch them on the internet... 🙁
 
yup thats what they told me when i called up - sky want 3 times more money than b4 and have pulled sky 1,2&3 plus a few other channels 🙁

So much for my prediction that is was all a negotiating tactic 🙁 We're going to be moving to Sky by the looks of it...in the meantime I'm acquiring tonight's Bones as I type 😉

I heard that. It's because Sky wanted to charge double the rate to allow Virgin to air Sky 1. If anything Sky are out of order. Why double the rate? Well, I know why, its a good business move. If Virgin don't have Sky 1 then people are gonna want to move. But I just think its really underhanded of Sky to do it!
