Skype

I think this thing is so cool, I've only just started using it, to talk to a friend in England cuz we have like hour long phone conversations and the Bills would be so much fun to pay! so the obvious answer was for the two of us to use skype.

Does anyone use it? Do you use the phone bit or just the messenger bits? I would totally consider getting one of the wireless ones and having it be my home phone, anyone do that?

I use skype a lot with friends or family who live far from me.
I use the phone bit,in france you can phone any ordinary phone for free until 2007 so I use it A LOT!, and also the messenger bit. video conferences are better with skype than msn imo.
but what is annoying is that only a few people use skype...

I haven't used it for a while now, but I usually use it a lot, mostly to call my parents or brother. I would use it to call other people too, but not to many people I know use it. I have a little money in my skype out account though, so I can call regular phones too, but I've only done that very few times 'cause the sound quality wasn't that good.

When I was in the UK it was the only way I ever spoke to people in Sweden (I mean like my family etc.).. Now I mainly use it to make podcasts with Fran 🙂
It's great, really is, mhm.

hmmm i have it but i barely use it i dunno lol maybe its cause i have no one to talk to on it cause everyone i talk to either has A) Cingular or B) Yahoo or MSN lol so yeah
