wow, these are all really amazing. if I could fit an icon I'd use one of yours, they're very pretty!
 
Guys I need your opinion, since I can't be objective about a specific piece. I've been commissioned (I won a art-contest so that's how I was commissioned, but since I was the only one that entered, it's nothing to brag about, hehe) to make lots of banners for BuffyCollector.com - BtVS and Angel Merchandise and Collectibles (like the ones that are used now, one per page).

I won with this banner, and I'm suppose to make all the others in the same style (different colors, but same effects and all that) but I wonder if I shouldn't come up with something better, yet simple, since I don't want to use fancy brushes and textures, that I would have to credit and/or ask for permission to use. I know I could do better, but it's a lot of banners I have to make, so it seems like a bit of a time-consummer, both coming up with something awesome and making about 50 banners in this new style.

So be completely honest: Is this a decent enough banner to have the honor to be used on such a awesome site as buffycollector.com? Or should I do better?

Btw, what is this font called? I feel like I should ask the maker if buffycollector.com could use it. Or do you think I could use it anyway? Font-etiquette is a mystery to me.

It feels so weird to not use text, but I didn't know what to write, and the banners were kind of cluttered already.

Oooh that's lovely, i love the purple. I like that there's no text, i always always usually cram the text into my banners.😛

Me too. I can rarely keep from using text.
I absolutely love all this new stuff you've been posting! I didn't realize I'd missed so many updates, but WOW- gorgeous stuff! All your icons are wonderful and I especially love the new banner you're using.
Sometimes, I think banners are perfect without any text on them. 🙂

No textures used, I just used the backgrounds of the images and mixed and matched.

One of my very rare art pieces that aren't doodle.

I did this for the Season 8/dark horse art contest. Not that good, but considering that I've never drawn chibis before, or colored a drawing in photoshop (and that I was too lazy to practise that much before the deadline) this is pretty decent.

 
You did great work on the buttons, and I think the drawing is adorable! 😀
