Okay, we've got the main Slayer team located in a castle in Scotland, A second team in what looks like a castle or monastery in Japan, and a group at the hellmouth in Cleveland, and possibly another in Rio De Janeiro (where Willow and Kennedy lived). Do you think there's a pattern there, as in one Slayer team for each continent, probably with Buffy's group serving as cavalry for any of the others getting in trouble?

It may go beyond that. Remember The Chain.

Also...is there a slayer underground I wonder, even beyond Buffy's control? I'm remembering the slayer Gigi killed. She appeared to be dressed as a maid. Buffy was not aware of Gigi, until she was teleported to her mansion. Was Giles running a slayer underground?

In Issue #1, Buffy said that there were over eighteen hundred that were known, and of that number, only a little over five hundred were working with her organization. That means there are almost 3 Slayers out of 4 that are known to exist that aren't directly under Buffy's command. There's no telling what all of those super powered girls are up to, but it's a certainty that at least a few are going to be abusing their powers, and that's a situation that Buffy and her crew are going to have to face eventually.

Doesn't Andrew have a team somewhere? And wasn't Simone orginally shown to be part of it? I wonder if he'll be held accountable for her descent to the dark side.

Simone's apparently working with other girls, at least two of whom are Slayers. There's bound to be something in a future issue with Buffy having to decide what to do about them.

That's right. Isn't Andrew still in Italy, so wouldn't that mean at least 2 slayer cells in Europe?

Rona seems to be recruiting in America, but is there more to her position than that? Didn't Buffy say something about Rona passing the buck by sending Simone to Andrew?

I'm thinking they have cells in major cities, for recruitment purposes and then additional cells in hellmouths and other hot spots around the world.

Plus there are a few in LA as we learned in Angel: After the Fall.

I don't think they're with buffy cause she wouldn't let them be caught etc..

The problem with that, though, is that sa far as anyone knows from the outside, LA is perfectly normal. If Buffy knows about the team being there at all, communications would be non-existent. More likely, the girls were assigned there by someone else, Wood, for instance, since he seems to be in charge of the force in Cleveland, it wouldn't take much of a stretch of the imagination to see him in charge of the entire Slayer force in the US or even all of North America.

Personally, I find that hard to swallow if the assumption is that it is merely a glamour. LA simply has too many connections to the world.
Mark my words now, there is something more to it.
I think it is the other way around. I think the Fang Gang being in hell is the glamour, along with Angel's humanity.
My suspicion is that Gunn has become aware of it and is attempting to reverse it.
It might be that he is not even be a "true" vampire himself and everything they see is illusion.

Yeah, they do seem to have a cell situated in easily accessible zones for maximum coverage.
LA (west coast USA), Cleveland (mid-USA), NY (east coast USA), Scotland (west Europe), Italy (east-Europe), Japan (Asia), Rio (South America).
Taking that into account, and the few core members of the gang I can see Wood as overall commander of the USA since he is in the central position of the USA.
