I think the rules behind the powers of a slayer haven't been clearly defined through the series. Like how strong exactly is a slayer and how strong can a slayer get? What exactly can a slayer do as a slayer? Because I mean if you look at it in some episodes Buffy is VERY strong and in other episodes her power diminishes. In an episode of Angel Faith was seen to move VERY fast in I believe it was Salvage, when she left Wesley's side and was on the other side of the place in mere seconds, something we've never seen Buffy who is stronger then Faith due to her training in Season Five never seen her do that, or never even read anything like that in the slayer books, canon or none canon. In Two To Go, we see Buffy bend steel bars in a jail cell to get Andrew and Jonathon out of jail which had to be her greatest feat of strength, but yet she can't kick down a metal door. Also we always seen Buffy jumping up high, but yet Faith can't jump up high following Angel when she fought him in Season Four. I mean part of this has to do with vampires too, because in the episode where Kate finds out Angel is a vampire the guy Angel sired I don't remember his name, basically flew up a building and into a window and that's something we've NEVER seen on the show, and really never saw again. I mean if a slayer is suppose to be so strong if she was to hit a human with the same force that she would have to obviously use for a vampire or demon they should be dead or bleeding internally. Just like when she kicked Riley across the room, he should've been bleeding or a lot more hurt then he was. I mean granted his strength was slightly enhanced, but he was still no slayer and still very much a mere human. One moment Buffy is picking up some metal iron things that weight several hundred pounds, the next moment she's having trouble lifting something up that's about equal weight. Also if all the slayer's senses were increased why not smell? You would think that'd be a very useful tool for a hunter.
