Was the red axe ever given a name? I know its from the Fray comic but I never got a chance to read the book.

But seriously i', glad you called it the Slayer axe......it annoyed me how they kept calling it a scythe

I always thought it was cool how they recreated the axe from the comic. It's almost an exact replica. It's one damn cool axe too! If only there was really an axe out there like that. I'm sure the one they used for the show was blunt.

Although I agree that it doesn't look like a scythe and more like an axe, I think we ought to call it the Scythe, because all the characters do. And be honest, it DOES sound hella cool! 😉

I'm with DDLM, every time I watch s7 I try not to but always end up screaming at the tv, "That's not a frigging scythe! It's a frigging axe!" If we're gonna start calling axes scythes then why don't we say we're using our typewriters to view and reply to these threads?

Having said that, the axe was fully sick and should have had an ultracool name like The Eradicator.
