Same. If I tease myself with an hour or two of sleep (more like an hour to an hour and a half), then my body will take it just like that. Like I've teased it. Said "this is what you COULD be doing, but instead, you're not going to be resiting... you're going to be doing stuff." It doesn't like that much.
Okies so I bothered to count the hours I slept last night, and it was 7-8ish.
Again it's not letting me function any better or worse, but it does seem that if I don't need to be up for work I get in a good 7/8 hours no matter what time I went to bed.
I need my 7-8 hours a night to feel good in the morning. But I have great trouble sleeping lately and I'm happy when I'm sleeping through the night, or at least get 5 hours of sleep total to be halfway functional. There are nights (too many) when I find absolutely no sleep. And it can be uncomfortable if one has to work the next day 🙄 .
I always say (especially to my dad who says he's slept a lot but still feeling tired) that it doesn't matter how much you sleep in the night, it matters how you sleep. Don't know if that's true, but that's my theory and I'm sticking with it!
