Halloween is very soon! It's like my favourite time of the year!
So, what are you guys planning?
Do you celebrate Halloween? Do you celebrate an alternative, like say, Mahalaya?
Do you like this time of the year? Why?
Do you like it when a show has a special Halloween episode?
Do you think there is a limit age to wear a costume and go trick-or-treating?
What costume would like to wear?

I love Halloween! :tongue3::tongue3::tongue3:

I love the idea of Halloween and I've always always wanted to celebrate it full on. When I was younger I always wanted to go trick or treating, then as a teenager I always wanted to decorate the house and watch horror movies, now I would love to be able to make a big thing out of it with decorations and dressing up and going to parties.

Australia just doesn't celebrate it enough unfortunately.

If I had found a party to go to this year I Would definitely be finding a friend to convince and would go as the shining sisters (as seen in my banner)

I love your inclusion of "slutty pumpkins." Yay HIMYM!

I think I'm going to "fear farm" which is a farm that turns their barns into haunted houses. I love halloween... I love being scared. I will hit things in the haunted houses though... last year, I hit this guy who was shoving a chainsaw in my face with my purse in his balls. Moral of the story, don't shove a chainsaw in a girl's face. haha

I don't think there's a limit to dressing up. Trick or treating... as long as they give you candy, do it. I would do it this year if I weren't going to fear farm.

Here, people don't celebrate Halloween. But I always carve my pumpkin, and watch some scary movie.

We have something similar to Halloween, when kids put on their costumes and go trick and treat, but it's in February.

Don't plan a single thing.
As can be guessed from the previous answer I don't celebrate. But maybe something will happen at work. I can do Halloween for the kids but no desire for myself.
If this time of year just mean Halloween I don't care. If you want to celebrate with friends you can (getting more and more popular) but if you don't the only way you notice is that the stores got some Halloween stuff and the occasioanl pumpkin. And it's more horror movies than usual on tv.
I often enjoy the Halloween episodes on tv a lot. The best thing about Halloween.
If you want to go trick or treating at 20 or 40 years old in the states go ahead. It won't bother me.
I've only worn one Halloween costume in my life. I was the Scream villain. Still got it in my wardrobe. Taking up space. But maybe I'll need it again.

When I was a kid (yes a long time ago) we dressed up as witches and went trick and treating at Easter but that's the only time. More and more people are starting to do things for Halloween but thankfully trick or treating isn't to be seen. Yet.

Yeah, the same over here, too. 🙂 But over the last 10 years, celebrating Halloween slowly caught on here... got imported from the US, and the stores greedily jumped on the chance to sell costumes and sweets for another month. :sign::dollar::dollar::dollar:

For me, though, Halloween mostly means Shempy's birthday. 😀

aww you and shempers ^.^
I LOVE Halloween! I'm going trick-or-treating on Halloween in my cousin's neighborhood because we're going to her Halloween bash, which we do every year and it's always fun! Also, my older sister and I are going to be cowgirls for Halloween.

Nope, no Halloween stuff here.
Really not my kind of holiday. I hate the costume stuff and having kids doing trick or treat is just annoying.
Luckily it isn't much celebration here. I get the feeling that it's more and more though.

Special Halloween episodes can be fun though. So it's not all bad. 🙂

I absolutely love halloween, I think we'll probably do what we normally do. A friend of ours has a halloween party the weekend before halloween which we'll probably go to, a night away from the baby and all. Then on the 30th I think we're taking Jonathan to the mall for trick or treating there, and then on actual Halloween we'll take him to his great uncles neighborehood to go trick or treating there. Every year its pretty much the same lol.

I love this time of year because its very pretty, and its just hard to describe but the smells of this season feel homey too...or something along those lines lol...

I love watching Halloween related episodes, I think they are generally funny though some can be very dull and lame.

I do not think there should be an age limit on dressing up in a costume as I try to do it every year, however I do think after a certain age if you don't dress up you shouldn't go trick or treating.... but hey as long as you have a good costume and not something stupid i'll throw anyone a mini candy bar, however if some 15 year old comes to my door in jeans and a tshirt i'm gonna laugh at them and shut the door in their face.

Do you like this time of the year? Yes, I Love Halloween 🙂

Halloween is my favorite holiday! I absolutely love it. My parents can't afford a lot of decorations though, but I love to decorate and dress up and stuff. I even trick or treated last year as a zombie 😛

This year, I'm going to Atlanta's newest Halloween attraction: Zombie Apocalypse 😀

Halloween is my favorite holiday!!! More than Christmas 😀

So, what are you guys planning? No idea yet, but it's still early 😉

Do you like this time of the year? Why? Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I love the colors, I love the leaves falling, and of course, I love Halloween. I love dressing up 😀

Do you like it when a show has a special Halloween episode? Absolutely! "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" is still one of my favorite Halloween shows.

Do you think there is a limit age to wear a costume and go trick-or-treating? Sadly, yes 🙁 But, to get away with it, maybe I could just wear a white sheet and go as a ghost 😉

I always usually dress up just for the fun of it...but no trick or treating for me..I'll likely watch Buffy's Halloween episodes and the original Simpsons Tree House of Horror episodes...then again I think I'm supposed to go to a Halloween Boat Party

Oh I looove Halloween 🙂
I've got pumpkin carving planned with my brother, I've made a series of self-made pinup themed Halloween greeting cards to send to my friends and I'm going to three Halloween parties 😀 (just cause I love dressing up so much... so no, I don't think there's an age limit to wearing a costume)

I love this time of he year because I love this season when the world is changing colors and the air is clear and refreshing.

Also yes, love Halloween themed episode of Tv-series.

What costume would I love to wear? Hm, a Lornette maybe 🙂 There's a lot of things I'd like to dress up as though. (the planned ones for this year is Megan Fox as a zombie from Jennifer's body, a procelain doll and then the third party I haven't decided for yet 🙂)

I imagine there will be some kind of party or event happening at my uni but I might just stay in and carve a pumpkin and watch some films. There's also a London zombie walk happening so I may pop along to that.

First Halloween shenanigans of the season: Oklahoma's annual Ghouls Gone Wild parade last night. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!! Took the kiddo's to what is the only halloween parade I've ever seen; 70+ floats, march of 1000 skeletons, and Flaming Lips own Wayne Coyne as the grand marshall, rolling down the street in a gigantic bubble. What could be more fun than that, besides seeing my 5 year old Spiderman try to scale the building walls and eat a tree while 4 year old Batman pretends to beat up the fictitious bad guys and my 10 year old grim reaper is going "Ok, really guys? Come on." And all the while, Zombie me is threating them with brain eating if they get out of line. It was fun.

BTW, I LOVE Halloween.
