Okay, I'm really kicking myself for posting this. You see, I was never really a Smallville fan. But ... after the latest episode when
Lex was put in the mental hospital
, I was kind of hooked. ::change::

So, here's where we can discuss the latest happenings in Smallville ... and stuff. 😀
 
I was the same way. It seemed kind of two-demensional at first glance. I don't know if it was the Johny Cash song at the end of the episode, or the sheer surprise of it all that kept me wanting more. My opinion may change once the next new episode roles around, though ... 🙂
 
I'm not a smallville fan either. However, I have watched a few epps at Rayne's before Angel comes on.

This is what I think. Clark is hot, Lex is hot and the epp from last week was pretty interesting, although it did not leave me feeling "hooked" in the least. I like the relationship/friendship that Clark and Lex share...I wonder if that is now becoming torn.
 
I don't like Clark. I don't even like Tom Welling. I think they could've gotten a much more convincing Superman, if you ask me. 🙂
 
I've been watching since the beginning and I enjoy it, but definitely not hooked!
 
That's fine Chasity. Lol, I wasn't going to chew your arm off if you disagreed with me. I think the guy who plays Lex really fits the role. And I love Lana and Chloe. I like the tough chick thing ... yep, I'm a sucker for that sorta thing. 😀

Sorry, I have a teething problem ... it's really more of a condition. 😀

The only person I just can't stand out of the entire show ... is the dad. I mean, could he be any more of a cardboard person?

"Clark? What's wrong? You need to go save Lana! Now! Go! I'll protect your mother!" ... See? Cardboard. 😉

I have never gotten into Smallville, and I think I never will. I think Tom Welling is a bit naff for the role too, could of found someone much better!
 
I LOVE Smallville.

I think they could've gotten a better Clark as well, but i don't mind that much.

I'm in the UK though, so I'm not gonna see it until sometime next year 🙁 but i'll read the spoilers and join in talks, and WOW Lex in a what? OMG!!!
 
Another huge Smallville fan here also in the UK, so i haven't seen the current season airing in the US yet but from what i've been hearing, i can't wait!. I got sucked in pretty quickly.

Tom Welling in my opinion is a very good Clark Kent, bearing in mind, this is teen CK, prior to Superman, Daily Planet and Metropolis and not forgetting Lois Lane. To say he's naff to me is like saying DB isn't a good choice for Angel. Both actors have made their respective characters their own.

I must admit though, the first time i saw Tom as Clark, i thought he was a little stiff but he's gotten better. The PTB in Smallville were looking for an almost complete unknown for the role of Clark Kent and in my opinion they chose correctly in Tom.

Michael Rosenbaum is perfect as Lex too. I like Chloe's character though i have to admit, i'm not a big Lana fan, i find her a little sugary at times.

But i can't wait for the third season to air in the UK, which i think will be on air on E4 late January, early February 🙂
 
I like smallville and I really don't have any complaints over the actor/ess's. I've watched it from the beginning and the only thing I don't like is the Clark/Lana relationship. Don't get me wrong, I love the Clark/Lana, it's the way it should be(in my opinion) but the on again/off again relationship is getting old, and seriously repetative
 
so agree trustno1, it's so long on off on off. Just make up your minds!

Oh, i wish it would hurry up, and i can't wait for angel either, but it's gonna be wierd w/ no buffy to watch, but hurry up Smallville.
 
I didn't like Smallville at first and, like most shows I grow to love including Buffy, was actually forced into watching it because my hubby was always watching...but alas, I fell in love. Michael Rosenbaum is awesome as Lex. I love watching and waiting for the event that will make Lex hate Clark. And while I didn't like Tom Welling at first, he's growing on me 🙂
