smartest characters

I gotta say, I think Fred is smarter than Willow. She's got the education that Willow missed out on, and seems to have more varied and more in depth fields of expertise. Fred can do dimensional physics, but she can also work on finding a cure for a virus. She has dabbled in magic. But her understanding of math and physics is insane. I stick with Fred as number one, followed by Wes, Giles, Willow and Oz.

1. Willow- Fred may be super brainy at physics, but Willow seems to be able to adapt quickly to either physical or metaphysical problems...Fred even said at one point that she wasn't really good at the meta stuff (she is, but not like Willow).

2. Fred
3. Giles - More experience and confidence too, thus the smartness.
4. Wes
5. Oz

1. Fred (she has the major science brain, degrees n stuff)
2. Giles (all around intelligence, plus experience)
3. Wes (same as Giles just less experience)
4. Willow (brain girl, she's kinda self explanatory, see Buffy season 1)
5. Oz, Buffy tie, Oz was quiet but smart, and Buffy would occasionally have these "smart fits" that make you wonder, but I am basing it on the fact that she has lived longer than any other slayer so that has to count for something... she always came up with these crazy plans that worked out. blind luck? maybe... but I prefer to think of her as genius in disguise as a Blonde.
