I have noticed that there have been a lot of random news articles about Sarah Michelle Gellar lately and was wondering if anyone else noticed the same thing? I seems that every other day there is some small article on or about her on the interweb. I was also wondering if, with this extra media attention on her, if there maybe was something new that might be coming down the pike?...like the announcement of an new project in the works?

Just thought I'd throw this out there cause it's been bugging me. Has anyone heard anything new lately?

Well I saw the first "Dexter" article this morning. I'm unfamiliar with the series so I have nothing to go on. It's a shame that it's only on Showtime/Paramount +which of course is one of the channels I do not get!
 
Interesting! Dexter should be a cinch for SMG after dealing with Spike and Angelus. I hope I will get a chance to see this. I loved the original Dexter series.

Though the later seasons aren't that good - I'd still recommend watching the series. It is fantastic television, and you'll recognise a BTVS face in there too.

Did you watch New Blood? Haven't seen it yet.
I think this will be good for SMG. Being part of an ensemble, rather than lead. Hopefully that'll open the doors for her for more projects.
 
I am currently watching S1 of Dexter. I have read some of the novels, but I heard that only S1 follows the book.

And yes, there is a familiar face from the Buffyverse in at the very start!

I just saw it on Instagram too. I never saw the New Blood but I liked the original show. I havent seen it in years so this might trigger a rewatch.

Buffy ends up a cop after all!

Dexter S1 is a hard one to react to, as I know who the bad guy is!

I ended up reading all the Dexter books, too.
Haven't done a re-watch of the series - I think the disappointment of the last couple of seasons (and finale) put me off a bit. 🤣

Oh, I didn't hear about that! Makes sense though. Maybe they were also waiting on ratings for NB/audience reaction.

Would eventually like to watch it, regardless. Michael C. Hall was perfect for the role.

I actually wondered about this too, Cohen.
She was Producer (or Exec Producer?) on Wolf Pack, so it seems she struck a deal.
