I just wanted to make an appreciation thread for SMG in this movie. I think this movie is so underrated in the horror community but for me, it's one of my all time favorites. Helen Shivers is such a great character & SMG is one of the best horror actresses even just based on this movie alone. I've seen it a million times & still love watching it. SMG's chase scene in this movie has got to be one of the best in horror history, hands down, mostly because SMG brought so much to the role & made this movie her own. I grew up in the 90's & I remember seeing this movie when it first came out. I think I was only 10 or 11 but it definitely scared me & I still love it today. People have hated on this movie alot but for me, it's so much better than most modern horror films today. The rest of the cast is great as well! I love the way it was shot, the dark atmosphere & I also love the soundtrack. It so makes me miss the 90's 🙁

I found this awesome tribute video on YT for Helen & SMG so I thought I'd share 😀

I love that movie! Love it.

I'm not a big horror movie guy, but the ones I do like I tend to really like, and for me this one's a classic. This was actually the first thing I ever saw SMG in. Such a good movie.

Helen is my favorite supporting character in a horror! Right after Tatum Riley in Scream! I love Helen's chase scene it always gives me chills watching

It gives me chills too! Definitely a classic. And what I love is that nobody could've pulled off that chase scene or that role like SMG. There just aren't actresses that can pull off what she did in most horror movies today. I still hate that she didn't live to be in the second one but I'm glad that they showed Julie remembering her as much as they did because I always hated how in most horror sequels, they never even mention their friends or family that died in the first one.
