Here is an interview with SMG from this months Cosmo.. (ahem..not that I read Cosmo or anything like that)

Your contract with Buffy is up next year. Are you thinking about leaving the show?

SMG : No, not at all. I have plenty of time to think about focusing on my film career. I love Buffy and the people I work with on the show. I never think that I am being trapped. I think being on Buffy will help my ability to do more movies than if I were simply one more struggling actress out there looking for work....Saying that, its important to me that Buffy goes out on top. I don't want to be the show that should have ended a year ago.

YAY!!!! I wonder if this is true or fake?

Thanks for that, I guess we kind of got that impression from her before but it was interesting all the same. I think she made a good point about ending on top and not becoming "the show that should have ended a year ago".
