SMG is such a great actress

As many of you know i'am a massive fan of SMG and i may be bias in what i am going to say.

I've never seen "All My Children" before in my life but when she says "goodbye Pine Valley" it creates the same sort of feeling i feel in "becoming part 2" and "The Gift". Really touching moment and i don't even know the history of her character.

I think it underlines her talent as a performer. She also looks so adorable :biggrin3:
 
Judging by the scene featured above it isn't surprising to me that she received an Emmy for her role in "All My Children". To be that good at such a young age is a credit to her.
 
I've always thought so...I am really confused by the fact that all her movies are straight to dvd.

I don't get it, she was amazing in Cruel Intention and Buffy, so she made that cooking movie crapfest.....but all of her movies were decent....but now she's sent to the graveyard....I don't get it.
 
Oh I loved her as Kendall. She was so great, not to mention - preeetty girl 😀
 
Yep, she really did a great job around Kendall.

And I'm so sad that all of her movies go straight to dvd. It's been a while since I saw her on big screen. Well, not since The Grudge, which was long back in 2005 :/
I hope that one day she'll get a script, read it, be amazed with it and that movie will turn out great, and I belive that day will come, and I'm looking forward to it 🙂
 
didn't Veronica decides to die go up on the theatres in your country? It did here, although it didn't run for a long time
 
Is it just a case of picking the wrong films? Even in films that haven't done so well i always read that she is the shining light. I don't know how long it will be before she looks for work again but hopefully it is a high profile project that does well, she deserves to perform in a movie which does well.

SMG has a great talent and when the right scenes are given to her she can really amaze me. She excels in everything. She always finds a way to be a truly good actress. And I like her black hair there!:smile3:

She rocked as Buffy! She was a totally different person in Cruel Intentions(great performance), the Grudge, Simply Irresistible, Scooby Doo. She manages to do her best with every role she gets! I think she is a gifted person and actress!
 
She really is a great actress. Her tears, her feelings in the films look so real. I don't mind if she keeps playing crappy films because she's the one who makes them less crappy. Like, dan k said, she's the shining light. But that's for myself. But for her? I hope her career will get better as she deserves. And if she just likes to act and doesn't care about being famous, so be it. 😉
 
I loved SMG as Kendall Hart, so glad she was on AMC when the writing was top notch.


The show is a travesty now, as is the other two ABC soaps.
 
Is that reflected in the ratings? Over here in the UK the soaps rate really strongly is that the case in America too?

I completely agree! Sarah is part of the reason why I was so quickly drawn to BtVS when I first began watching it. As Buffy, she never fails to grip me (especially during her emotional scenes). You can tell she commits herself 100% to her roles.
 
oh yes her emotional scenes, I've never seen anyone cry like that and have it affect me. She just breaks my heart into bits when her lower lip starts trembling

Well, Sarah did said she likes crying scenes more, because she can done them so well. When she smiles on screen, she just looks weird, well that's how she sees herself. I like her smile, it's wide and you can see that she's truly happy, she doesn't have a fake smile =)
