SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR posed for a photoshoot in public in New York and was so shy in front of a crowd of onlookers that she cried.

The Buffy beauty said: "The shoot was on the street and I was in tears. Crowds were looking at me."

Urgh LK gets on my nerves, most prob annoyed by a) SMG not wanting to appear on the show and B) Jealous that she couldn't get away with doing that even though she thinks she some cool 40 something year old who can get away with what she wears. Her and Fiona I do not like to watch that early in the morning.

Maybe im old fashioned but I come from the school of "what the hell has it got to do with her?"

Anyway yeah its The Sun and this is how it gets readership, petty celebrity stalking. Personally I'd rather have SMG crying over The Sun any day.

That makes SMG sound like a huge snob...the whole 'crowds were looking at me' part....but anyway I highly doubt that's true, with everything else she's done, why couldn't she pose in front of a crowd? It really doesn't sound like her to break down in tears over a crowd watching her pose for a photoshoot....

Depends what the photoshoot was like... poor girl... I wouldn't like it if the public were looking at me whilst I was trying to look pretty and stuff! No wonder she was nervous.

To call the Sun a comic would be an insult to the fine output of DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, 2000AD et al 🙂 Personally, I wouldn't use it to wrap chips...it's a blight on British society, representing everything that is worst about my country - sexism, racism, boorish yob-culture behaviour, xenophobia etc. etc. (I intensely dislike the Sun btw🙂)

Actually this happened during the I believe it was Teen Elle shoot...I own it and it says right on the cover "We talk to Sarah Michelle Gellar - and we made her cry!" and in the interview they talk about why she cried. I have it at home, I could transcribe the part about it no problem. So although the tabloid took it WAY out of context, it is in fact true. In fact if you search out the magazine cover shoot (she's GORGEOUS on it by the way) you can see the byline on the cover about her crying.

She was just overwhelmed at the crowd that had gathered during the shoot..and heck, who can blame her!!!! Being shy myself..it'd be hard enough to do all that posing and looking sexy in front of photographers and crew..but could you imagine having half of NYC staring and judging you while you do it? No thanks!
