SMG teases new role in Star Wars Rebels Season 2

Den of Geek are speculating that Sarah Michelle Gellar might have teased her upcoming role in the series on Instagram when announcing that she would be at the Star Wars Rebels panel at NYCC this year. The photo would seem to tease who she might be playing on the show:

The caption reads: "I'm super excited to announce that I will be on the #StarWarsRebels panel at #NYCC on 10/8, 1:30pm, on the Empire Stage (of course). Hope to see you there! #StarWars @starwars Now whatever should I wear?"

Is Gellar playing a young Princess Leia years before A New Hope? We've already seen Senator Bail Organa on the show, so it wouldn't be too far-fetched. Of course, this is all still based on speculation and should in no way be taken as fact. Just thought you all should know.

We'll undoubtedly learn more about it at NYCC in a few weeks!

As I predicted (screw Den of Geek):

Gellar has revealed to BuzzFeed that she’ll actually be playing one of the new big bad villains of the second season of Star Wars Rebels. She’ll play an Inquisitor called the “Seventh Sister.” Described as a cunning and crafty villain who’s brought in by the Empire to track down the Rebels, Gellar will share some on-screen time with hubby Freddy Prinze Jr., who voices the Jedi leader of the Rebels, Kanan Jarrus.

Gue guess I'm pleased for her getting this role, but in general SW numbs my brain, there's far too much of it and over the next few years am sure I am going to get sick of hearing about it😀

It's horrible. They modulated her voice, so you cant even hear her. Not very well at least.
