ok, firstly i dont think SMG is anorexic. she is just a skinny girl who lost weight over the course of 6 or so years. yes her breasts are barely existant but having breats doesnt make a woman who she is. she is natural and looks great. and if you look at her at the teen choice awards she has put on some weight and looks similar to season 1 buffy so be happy.

Nevertheless you have to admit, that's a radical change. I hope it means she's all right now.

The Friends girls are starting to look a little healthier too. Maybe Hollywood is starting to get it's act together.
 
The fact is that we can only imagine how much pressure Hollywood puts on actresses to be stick thin. Look at the media and models today. It's hard enough being a teenager not to pay too much attention to the image in magazines and on tv, so it must be that much harder for women in Hollywood.
 
hes short but i dont think shes to skinny, my best friend is 5'7''and weighs 126 pounds and shes perfectly fine. Im 5'5'' and weigh one pound less than her and were fine. Shes a size 0 but looks good and she eats like a pig. maybe SMG has a fast matoabolism(sp?).....could that be it maybe!
 
i wouldnt go as far to say that she looks like she did in season 1 but her legs are a bit thicker now~but not fat-thick
 
Sarah needs to gain about 20 lbs, seriously... I hope she isnt anorexic or something.
 
I'm not so sure,I don'tthink she's anorerexic,but I'd definatley say she was TINY in season 7,there was a rumor going round that she was made to lose weight before each season started but if that was the case she wouldnt hace landed the role of buffy in the first place if they thought she should have been skinnier...but she IS sooooooo thin!
 
NO-NEVER!!! smg has never been fat!!it would never happen!!
but she is sooooooo skinny now it can be worrying.
 
i dont think she was skinny in season 1 but it also might have been the way she dressed
 
yeah,i think she looked nice in season 1,not too skinny or whatever-she looked good
 
the fact that she had bigger boobs and was a little "heavyer"( she was still skinny...🙂) in s1, can come form the fact that she was what 18, when they started filming Buffy, and every 7years your body changes(don't know what you call that in englsh, but we have a name for it here in norway!)
and yeah, actresses in Hollywood has ALOT of pressur on staying on top and skinny!! (just look at jamie lynn sigler- from the sopranos, she had a eating disordr...PS: not saying that SMG does, jusrt saying that it does happen...)
 
Did you ever see that Saturday Night Live episode where Calista Flockhart (Aly Macbeal) was the guest.

An SNL actress was pretending to be Calista Flockhart doing the opening monologue, then the real Calista came out and pretended she was talking to herself. She said, "For God's sake Calista, have a hamburger."
 
wow, that must have been cool! Calista is skinnyntoo though... (another factor when people are too skinny or just look it! like if i lose some weight-i'm skinny, and when i lose some weight i lose it in my face first... so i look skinnier than i am... ) and some of these actresses are really smal, like in hight...(you they're not ecacly big bonned...)
 
I taped a "behind the scenes of Chosen" thing they had on the Canadian Sci Fi channel. It was interesting, because SMG was unprotected by lighting or camera angles.

God, she looked bad. She looked sick, she was so skinny. The leg muscle you saw in the photos from the teen choice awards, just wasn't there. She almost looked like a different person.

My heart just went out to her. I wanted to track her down, and give her some soup.
 
I don't think she's anorexic. I myself had a cousin who was, and yes it is a horrible disease, but I dont think that Sarah Michelle has it. First off the first season boobs she had was a thing called a wonder bra, thats what she herself said. Shes a tinny girl, and yes I know tinny girls can get sick as well, but you have to remember all the work that goes into taping buffy, and her long hours. The work out routine and everything. She's not really into sweets and she is a healthy eater. Girl's weights always go up and down...I lose ten pounds then gain them back a month or so later, and I dont even do anything for that to happen at all. I dont work out or eat right it's just a matter of activity in my normal day. Well, Im sure I had more to that argument, but its late and Im tired lol.

EDIT: I remembered Sarah had said season one was the year of the wonder bra..not push up, so I changed it.

I'm sorry to hear about your cousin, Dreamer. I also went through the disease with someone close. It didn't end well.

I'm guessing you and yours caught it in time. I'm glad. How did you manage to see past all the lies, tricks and manipulations that are a trademark of the disease. Not everyone does.

I'm curious to learn what it is about your experience with your cousin, that leads you to believe, the same thing couldn't be possible with SMG.

Remember no-one saw it coming with the singer Karen Carpenter. She's dead now. So are a lot of others.
