**Snow Day**

Does anyone live on the east coast of the United States, and have a snow day today? I'm off from school, although there is barely any snow on the ground. High School stinks, but they can be very generous.

Even if you don't live on the east coast, does anyone have a snow day or has had snow days this week?
 
ooo wow cool a snow dawy that is so aweosme!! i wish that it would snow here but it never snows in the UK well where i live anyways LOL
 
We getalot of snow here..Nevertheless even if it's -20 degrees Celcius(Freezing) we are still made to go to school...
 
yusu - it never snows in the UK? I thought it was cold up there.

ana - our school is like that too. they are like nazi's there. one time there was 9 inches on the ground and school ended and they forced everyone out of the building into the cold with no rides home and stuff.
 
You wanna know the best part..We don't have anything lie buses taking us home..We need to use public transport(not soo cheap) and when its so cold buses and trains are always at least 5 min late...
 
I woke up to the phone ringing this morning -- it was my friend telling me and my sister that we have no school today. I stayed up anyway to watch a movie. I'm so damn happy.🙂😀

It is cold in the UK, but we never really have snow days. Scotland has really bad snow but England doesn't. The first and last time I ever had a snow day was about seven years ago. The school shut down for about two days.

Yup its true we tend to get it quite a bit up here. I had countless snow days when I was in school....its about the only thing I liked with our weather.
 
Ugh, we never get snow days in London, ever!

It's mostly just chucking it down with rain here, it's been torrential every day for about 2 weeks straight!
 
I guess teachers are teaching us wrong at my school. They always tell us it snows in UK and London. I have a bone to pick with them now... what else have they screwed up in my education! There is still 30 states right? LoL. Just kidding, I know there's 50.

oneeye - yeah, colleges never call off classes, or so I heard from you and my cousins.
 
I used to love snow days when I was younger now I am in college and even though the classes have been canceled its not as much fun, maybe cause my friends dont live on the same block anymore and we cant have snowball fights, now the fight is cleaning off the car. These are the days when I regret having a wheel-rear-drive car!
 
i am off today...we could have gone the roads are clear. Im mad too, i don't want to have to make up the day later on when it's nice and warm. I hate snow.....to cold. Parker, how much snow did you get? I have like 5 inches here.
 
We only got 4 inches here. It was enough to close down the high school for some odd reason.
