I love the snow. It's personally so soul cleansing for myself and just gives me a sense of purity when untouched.
I love it's cold feel, and playing in it, and the way it crunches under your feet when you walk.

But I absolutely HATE shoveling it.

Your thoughts?

oh snow is so pretty, plus i love the fact it got me out of school for a week..... i have never had to shovel it seeing i am the youngest and a girl so my big bro has to shovel..... so i have absolutly no problems with the white powder

Just this week (I live in New York) my town got 23.5 inches of snow. I only like the snow when I'm not the one shoveling it all... Plus, it tastes goo-- um, I mean...I would never eat it...

As i live in london we do not really get snow but the other week we did and that was the most i had seen in a long time and i love it!!!!!

I live in london too and not long ago we had it twice!!
I fell over a good 20 times!!!!!

Snow in Coventry, UK dosen't fall that often actually. It just gets really, really cold here. When it does snow, the whole of our school goes on the lawns outside the Old House, which is out of bounds, and everyone gets Mr Vickers, our headteacher. It's hillarious actually watching him stress about snow on his coat!

I hate the stuff - it's ok as long as I don't have to go out in it! Oh, and when it's been down a few dys and has gone all dirty grey and slushy - it's even worse! ::evil::

Snow should fall on Xmas Eve last during Christmas day and then just disappear - that would be ideal to me 'lol'

LOl you guys, your storied crack me up.
Fivebyfive, where in NY do you live? I live in New York City, we got about 2 feet.

It's raining heavy today so now it's all disgusting and mushy.

I absolutely LOATHE snow. I hate winter. I hate putting on all those extra clothes and boots and trudging to work/school. I hate the cold. I dread winter.

..which doesn't much work when you live in Canada. 😛

when it did snow down in south England around jan i sliped up in the street! the next day it had been snowing over night. so i thought i would be safe and not slip due to the layer of snow...so much for my theory about not slipping up on snow! right in the street agen!

Lol BuffyUKer! Snow can be very tricky, I'm sure.
One moment it's your friend, then the next it's got you round the foot!

haha the last time i fell was when i lived in Ohio and it snowed bad and i was itty bitty i fell through and it was up to my coller bone my dad had to carry me it was hilarious but cold

I have my own experience. I didn't wear that many layers of clothes and I went to play in the snow, when someone put snow and ice down my shirt. Thats when I realized my pants were down the whole time!
Very embarassing!

-Groo-, I live on Long Island. Almost everybody got arounf 2 feet or less. My town almost got 2 feet, but missed the mark by half an inch lol.

i've been to long island b4, my uncle lives there so we went to visit for the summer. not a bad place at all. the best place is the duncin'donuts at the train station! yumyum. we drove all the way from Toronto, bcoz we av family there to, to long island in this tiny car and after a couple of days we drove all the way back to Toronto!

Oh, I live in Brooklyn, here in the city we don't get as much or if we do it doesn't last because all of the cars and trucks and all these people that walk around!

Sints snow is few and far between over here! i like my snow un toutched, so if someone is walking in it outside my house i'm like "Oy!"
