I live in Roanoke, about 3 hours southeast of Richmond. And the reason that the schools closed is because we arent used to getting snow and the school systems here panic at the slightest bit of precipitation.

Yah the air is always so clean and it's always so beautiful. I love it here. For about 5 years I lived in Northern Texas and I didn't really like it. The grass was always yellow and the air was always too dry. Then my dad and me moved to Colorado and I love it here!!! About the time I was 11 he opened the ski and snowboarding shop. We lived not far from a ski resort so he always took me there to learn how to ski and snowboard. I'm not that good, but I'm decent at it. I can keep up with the guys that I snowboard with.

Im not so sure.. i mean i like it as it equals days of college,its pretty,fun to play in.. but then it aint no fun when you get hit by a snowball.. and it's wet.. and cold..
 
I'm pretty torn here. On the one hand, I love snow, but I don't like the preceding and succuding biting cold. Thoug I suppose the worst of both worlds is when it is "to cold for snow" (Does anyone get how that's even possible, 'cause it still confuses me).
 
Beautifully white, smooth... plus you can make snowman & igloo, & snowball fight... Viva snow : penguin: plus penguin like it (snow & ice ) & I like penguin so I like snow (isn't that just logic?) :tongue05:
 
I love snow, but we hardly ever get it, I'm not so sure if I'd love it so much if we had it as often as some places do. I love how pretty it looks when it first settles and there are no marks in it. Plus there is lots of fun to be had - snowball fights and such. Oooh, and time of college, cant forget that.

Oh ssssssh, I'd just woke up when I wrote that. 😛 You know what I mean.

And I've just seen on the news that they are forecasting snow for some places in the UK next week, wow, thats early.
 
I love snow...so yay! hehe. But then after awhile, I get kinda sick of the cold weather. But snow itself? very good. Fun. Unless youre at the park near my house where everyone goes sledding down the huge hill and whenyoure on your way down with your friends, you run into someone making their way back up the hill. That hurts. Specially when you get hit, since you go pretty darn fast down that hill 😛
But snow is good 😀
 
The first time it snows its all cool...as long as I don't have to be outside in the freezing cold...but I get sick of it by the second time it snows...I'm ready for summer again by then...
