Emmy nominations were announced this morning and neither Buffy nor Angel got a nod for any of the major categories...hmmmph!
 
Really isn't a surprise. Just disappointing. Buffy's best shots to get an Emmy in the mainstream categories were back in Season 2 and 3 or with "Hush" (close one there), "The Body" and "Once More with Feeling". Buffy normalyl gets a few technical nominations though, last year it had four, this year it only has one, which is for special effects (Chosen was the episode in question). Firefly's "Serenity" is also up in this category. I really thought David Boreanaz or Alexis Denisof was worthy of a nomination this year though, maybe next year though.....maybe not.
 
Seriously, though, the emmy's never honor anything but the same ten shows. It's really not worth even watching anymore until one of those ten shows get cancelled paving the way for another clone of those shows...it's sad, really.
 
buffy deservs to get an award... to say the least. i dont know why they wont let buffy in 🙁 still, they fail too see the finer things in life.
 
indeed. who have no intrest in the NOW as "they" are back in the (lol) THEN. grabing on to the old shows which have been gathering dust over the years. its really quite sad. 🙁
