but you'd need a micrometer to spot the difference of a millimeter or two a year, so by the year 2050 it'll be underwater mainly due to the rising oceans not the odd centimeter or two.
A lot of other cities around the world are sinking as well though none as much as the Asian cities.

I thought Mexico City was the one that was sinking the fastest in North America. New York City has an infrastructure problem in that a lot of its important items are at low altitude. For example, the runways at Kennedy International are 12 feet above sea level. It wouldn't take much of a rise to wipe out a lot of New York since the subways and tunnels are below sea level.

Moscow isn't on a coastline, so it's probably safe.

Indonesia is actually planning to build a whole new capital, on a different island 800 miles away from Jakarta (its current capital), because it is sinking.

Belize moved its capital from Belize City that was heavily damaged by Hurricaine Hattie in 1961 to Belmopan, about 50 miles inland and at an altitude of 249 feet above sea level. I expect more moves like this.
