You're being supportive, you're doing everything 'right'. I get you're a proud mum, and you want to shout it from the rooftops, but you have to respect her wishes for privacy. Who cares what other people think of your parenting? At the end of the day, the fact your daughter has come out is a big deal, but it's also not a big deal.... if you get what I mean.

You're an awesome mum btw!

It's not so much that I want to shout it from the rooftops, I just don't think it needs to be a secret. I don't want her to think that she has to hide this because its no big deal. But you're right although I know it's no big deal it is a "big deal".
Just wanted to say exactly what @Athena said.

You must be a great mum because your daughter trusted you to keep her secret, so never doubt yourself, you are doing a great job 🙂

I didnt stay... I was just trying to help them out with a problem. I couldnt be arsed to work there.

As for GoSpuffy, I'd say that I agree with what Blaze said before.
Looks like you got the loving/supportive mom down pat, tho. 🙂
 
If @Mr. Pole can't deal with lefties I don't know how he'll handle ambidextrous people walking through the world trying to blend in with his averageness.
 
@GoSpuffy That's pretty much what I do as well. It's obviously something she's new to, so it may take some time for her to be fully comfortable with people knowing. And the sad fact is that some people may think differently of her. This can be a scary thought. Everyone comes out or chooses to tell people at their own rate, nothing to worry about 🙂 Congrats on a new person to watch Buffy with!
