Well? Did you get anything awesome? Boring? Fun?

And...

How was/is your day?

For me I have been spoilt rotten! Large coffee mugs from various people, shed load of Yankee candles, lava lamp, bluetooth speaker for the kitchen, smellies, bits and pieces and a beautiful daisy diamond necklace from Abbs!!!
At the moment we are working on dinner (yes we have it later in the day), so the house smells amazing at the moment! I might have had a few coffees and a small Baileys so far! After dinner we are going to play Assassins Creed Monopoly!!
 
I got way more than I expected since I wasn't giving out presents to anyone but my niece this year. My own personal wish list just had cash written on it, which I got, but I also got;
A triangle necklace that my niece had done a drawing on, totally adorable.
A picture of my niece, to go with the pictures I got for the last 2 Christmases before, a great way to see how much she's grown over the years.
And a board game (have I mentioned that I collect board games) called Paparazzi, which is all about celebrities and stuff like that. Can't wait to play it!

I got a MoccaMaster (coffemaker) so that's pretty great. Then a bunch of smaller stuff, like books and a padded skirt you can wear outside of your clothes in subzero degrees. I was mostly impressed by the gift I got from my brother though because it was something I wanted but hadn't mentioned and when I asked him how he knew it was something I wanted, he was like "oh remember this conversation we had after grandpa's funeral, when you kind of sort of mentioned something like it"... damn, that was like 7-8 months ago. Even I don't remember what I was babbling about 8 months ago.

Gifts like that are always the best, because it shows that someone is listening to you, that they care about what you say, even with the smallest detail. My step-dad got my mom 5 gifts, and only two of them were from her wish list. I think she loved the other 3 more, because they were things he sensed she'd love because he knew her so well.
 
Other than second life trinkets (a lovely sugar skull pixel dog is my favorite) i did not do presents. I did exchange messages with people i love and don't talk to nearly enough. Those meant much more than stuff. I am old enough now where i have most of what i want. Unless you know a great and powerful (white magic) witch who can grant life changing wishes, there is no thing that anyone can give me. I am deeply grateful for that btw - having enough is a great gift. But people matter more than stuff. So, i am doubly rich. I have enough. And I have my people.

I got for christmas when I celebrated with my parents (on the 24th):
- Trading cards (Spike, Fred piece work and Lorne pw)
- Comics (Season 10 tpb 3 and 4, Season 11 tpb 2 and High School Years - Freaks and Geeks)
- DVD, Movie (Chance by Amber Benson starring James Marsters, Andy Hallet and Amber Benson and it's signed by Amber and James Marsters)
- Books (novels by Amber Benson "death's daughter" & "cat's claw")

I started reading the comics and the first novel today.

Tomorrow I'll celebrate with my grandparents, aunt, cousins and my uncle.
So I'll let you what I got there, then 🙂.

Mother did good! I got lots of socks, a new blanket and coat.

It's now a tradition to buy each other the random lipbalms. This year I gave her popcorn and ice cream flavours, and she bought the same ice cream ones for me and the popcorn ones for my brother's partner!

I got some wonderful gifts from friends as well. @Last Watcher I got given the letter K 10p! My first and only new 10p coin

Got a new fleece jacket, which I'm wearing right now. A pair of Game of Thrones "Winter is Coming" sweatpants, and a GoT wall calendar. A big heavy full-color book of maps for writers (fantasy maps, maps of fictional locations and old-timey real maps). Volume II of the Castle Waiting complete collection. (It was a comic book series from years ago.) The season 1 DVD of "Mr. Mercedes." A poster made by a friend of mine showing dozens of antique postcards from my town. Several airline-sized bottles of fancy liquor.

My brother gave me five Barbies. But one is super creepy, so I'm tossing it. Keeping the outfit, though. 😂

My parents gave me a $75 gift card; and a pretty cosmetic bag... it's the same one that I gave mum in 2015. Yes, I pointed that out. She never even opened it! What a cow. 😛

My worthless sister gave me a bra that she'd bought for herself, but it didn't fit, so I got it. No thanks. I hate underwire anyway. (I've recently discovered the JOY of bras without wire. Yay!)

I didn't give out gifts this year. 😈
 
I got more than I thought! My boyfriend spoiled me. I got a couple of gadgets for my car, I got some massaging slippers, pajamas, two gift cards, Avengers Infinity War on 4k and blu ray (super sweet!), a new purse, A Stardew Valley guidebook ( love that game!) and a few other small things. It was a good Christmas this year. I got my boyfriend a Game of Thrones wallet and the One Ring to rule them all from Lord of the Rings. lol.
 
I got a DVD of a 2016 BBC TV series called 'The Living And The Dead' it has 6 episodes and is one of the norm of English programs where the acting is sublime throughout.
It deals with a hamlet of people in Sussex in the mid to late 1890's, a well made ghost series that was filmed at an empty National Trust home. Whilst recording was being made at the house an actual recording of a ghostly sound was heard. The sound of a telephone ringing, when no telephone had been installed at the house.
You may recognise the lead, he was the man who portrayed Merlin in the series.
 
Got a Amazon gift card . Got a family picture from my sister & while it wasn't a Christmas Present as such got a new cooler/heater for my place .
