As for old men chasing younger women, that is normal on the Latin dance circuit. Think of what the world would be like if people weren't allowed to talk to each other.

Fluoridation as done to water supplies does damage and you can confirm it by looking up the MSDS (material safety data sheet) for hydropfluorosilicic acid, which is the material that they use and it is listed as a carcinogen. It also has a similar effect to lead in that it reduces the IQ of the population that drinks it. Does your community need any further reduction of IQ?

Yeah, I'm sure it can be very uncomfortable to downright creepy. Some guys don't realize that even though they don't grown old in their minds eye they seem to forget the outside container does. That and the fact that they seem to loose all sense of proper manners towards others.

I think we get enough fluoride in toothpaste if you wish to use the one that contain it. There is no reason to put it in the water supply.
 
A totally illogical thought to anyone who has lost all their teeth from one disease or another, then had to face folk who want to stop fluoride in the water? Well said Moptop.

Cancer rotted my gums so I lost all my teeth, I like that fluoride is in the water here. And if they could speak, lots of new born babies all over the world would appreciate fluoride in the water before they get teeth.
What does Moptop say about not putting fluoride in the water now?

Just watched the country of my birth be put thru a direct hit by a meatgrinder of a category 5 hurricane called Melissa. As far as i know everyone i know is alive though some had their homes and towns obliterated.

I still have not heard from everyone. Electricty and phone service is in disarray at best.

I know several older adults that have lost their teeth due to diabetes which is very common and has nothing to do with fluoride in the water supply. Poor oral hygiene is always a factor too. I also know a younger person who is allergic to fluoride and cannot use anything but bottled water to drink or cook with. Unfortunately there are both pluses and minuses connected to it's use as with anything like that.

I'm contemplating how hard this would be to do. Pigs are not small, nor are they quiet when picked up. I think if they catch whoever did it, they ought to consult them for military stealth operations.🐷
 
Mobile phones are not connecting to 000 (our emergency service number). There have been a handful of deaths already (separate to the Optus crisis). The phone companies are blaming the victims because they didnt update their phones, or didnt have the latest software update for the phones. This is only going to get worse as technology changes quicker and the most vulnerable of the population cant keep up.

Norwegian Spirit cruise ship has come to the state for the first time. 2000 travellers are a boost to tourism. Remind me to avoid town on the day they come in down here!
 
Newsworthy? Perhaps not, but the news did just confirm what many of us already knew - all together we haven’t even had a full hour of sunshine in the Stockholm area for all of december so… in other news, everyone is feeling great, energized, and filled with zest for life 😉

I've probably already told you this, but I'm, half Swedish!
A lot of flooding in Washington state, but fortunately, not my area. I'm not sure if the more-frequent flooding here is due to climate change or population explosion, leading to housing tracts being built where there once was only floodplains.

That was happening when I was visiting Seattle last month. Just awful.
There are a lot of problems at my girlfriend's apartment building. Since she has been in the same building for 35 years, her rent cannot increase as much as if a new tenant moved in, so they are trying to force her out. This is a large two-bedroom apartment and the owner could easily get $3000 for her apartment but she is paying $1212. The law says you can't be forced out of the apartment so they can mark it up for more and the way they have been terrorizing her is to steal things from her apartment. She put up cameras but they were the type that used a sim card and it was stolen during the first break-in. She got another camera from Best Buy but no one could read the stored data. She may move out and sublet it to someone else for $2000 and still pay $1212, so that is a possibility.
 
My girlfriend installed a new lock on her apartment door today and will not be giving the keys to the apartment management. After seeing the superintendent steal a new shower head and not getting any reaction, she will be talking with the owner tomorrow. She also had some expensive Christmas presents stolen last night. The good news is the owner hates the new managers and may end the reign of terror the managers have been organizing. Under previous managers, the apartment was a pleasure to live in.

If the current management finds out the lock has been changed, she will have the obvious question: "How do you know?"

The post office is for sale! I always thought that would be a cruisey job. A very social job here, the post office is more like a gossip hub than anything else. I wondered if anyone would buy it, or if it will just be dissolved. With Sendle going out of business and post in other countries being completely discontinued, it seems like a silly thing to invest in at this point of the world. On the other hand, it is the only way to get parcels out here, through the po boxes, no courier is coming to our doors. It might be viable for another few years, but I cant see it still going in a decade. Not with the drones coming.
