Social Networking

I use facebook. To keep in contact with people online or people in real life who you don't see much anymore it's really useful. 🙂 I also use it to chat with friends all the time.

I tried Twitter, used it a bit... But I'm not a big fan and now I only check it to get news from some friends.

Tumblr, I tried too. But it's just not for me. I don't see the point. 😉
 
I have a Facebook because...I have a pretty big family and I have friends out of state/the country. I don't really use tumblr, I just have tons of crap in my queue. It started as kind of a visual "diary". It's basically just full of pictures, random/semi-disturbing photos. It's fun to stare at. None of it really means anything. It's just stuff that inspires me to write/make movies.

As for twitter...I have one because I want Matthew Gray Gubler's tweets sent to my phone, okay!?
 
I used to have Facebook. I deleted it because no one ever had anything interesting to say. Facebook is not really a medium that allows for mutually intelligent conversation. Also, now that Facebook is going public, I refuse to have my info sitting there for corporate America.
 
I use Facebook to keep track of family and 'real life' friends, I have a few internet people on there too but not heaps. I keep it pretty tame on there now days cos I have work people on there so most of my whinging is done on twitter or Google+ hehe. I mostly have internet friends on Google+ and I like to put photos or memes I find on there and keep up to date with people.

I love tumblr but since I've been home with crappy net I've barely been able to go on it 🙁 I miss it heaps! I barely go on twitter now either for the same reason so I miss a whole lot of tweets.

I sit on facebook most of the time Im on the net so I can chat to people or play games.
 
I have facebook but rarely use it except for Merrick things, twitter is easy to use on my phone so I sometimes use that, but mainly I use google+, which I prefer and I just talk to friends on there and post a load of random things!
 
I have Facebook which I rarely use anymore. I don't really like a lot of my Facebook "friends". 😛 I mainly just use it if I want to contact someone and that's it. I don't bother writing statuses or posting a bunch of pics because I'm a pretty private person.

I also have a Twitter, but I don't really go into detail about what I'm doing, mostly just what's on my mind. I also use it to keep in contact with people.
 
I have Facebook but I'm rarely active, I never update my status and I skim read the news thread because most of it is full of crap. Also I find Facebook very negative, something about it doesn't sit right with me any more. The only reason I still have mine active is to keep up with my friends. I use Twitter and Tumblr more, I find Tumble hilarious and it brings out my creative side more with all the fun posts you can re-blog. Through the people I follow I feel like there is very little judgement and it doesn't feel as restricted. Also having an iPhone now is not helping my Twitter and Tumblr-ing. 😀

Does anyone use Instagram?
 
Facebook, twitter and tumblr here! Facebook mainly for talking to friends, and seeing whats going on with them. Twitter for keeping up to date with my favourite celebrities, and tumblr for fan-boying over all my favourite tv shows 🙂
 
I have Facebook, I use it pretty much daily and I love it! I have lots of IRL friends, and quite a few BBers on there (always open to a few more though!) I did a cull recently though, and deleted 150 people...still working my way through :/

I have twitter, but I never really got the hang of it, so barely use it.

My tumblr basically just consists of a queue of images that get posted daily. I try to make a point of not having them consist of anything to do with TV. If that does happen, it's usually arty stuff to do with it, rather than actual pictures...if that makes any sense.
 
I've got Facebook mostly to keep in touch with my huge freaking family. G+ I have but have no idea how to use. MySpace, I can't remember what email I used for the account lol So I don't really care about that one. Instagram is one I'm just starting to use and like. Very simple social site. I've had Twitter since...'08? I used to be a huge twitter whore. I got really into tumblr. It's great to get to know people that have your same interests. But both my twitter and tumblr I've had to delete/deactivate because of harassment, threats, and stalkers (who somehow figured out where every single address I've ever lived in since I was 8)

So right now, I'm only really using FB, and it's only cuz I'm happy with their custom privacy system.
 
I have a Facebook for family and friends.

And a Twitter for friends. Also it seems to have gotten me a couple art commissions over time. So that has been pretty cool.
