Hello everyone.

I wanted to make you all aware of a few changes at BuffyBytes.

First of all, we are changing the official name of the boards back to Buffy-Boards.com. No particular reason except that we like it better 🙂 You will still be able to reach the boards through buffybytes.com as well. The only difference this is going to make is that on the main page it will say something different. 🙂

Secondly, last week, Xander Harris sold the boards to me. He is, however, going to stay on the team as a moderator. (We never can get rid of him 😀)

Thirdly, Anya and Wesley have joined Faith and I on the admin team. They bring lots of experience and promise to be a real asset here. So welcome to them 🙂

Finally, you may notice some small changes on the boards. We aren't planning anything drastic, so don't worry, but just to let you know that you might notice some little differences. The first of these being that shortly we will be adding matching buttons to each of the color schemes.

These changes should only proove to be positive for the boards, so I hope we can all continue to have some good chats about Buffy and Angel!
 
Welcome to all the admins. I am sure you will have a giid time here. 😉. I would also like to welcome Buffy Summers as the new owner. I am sure you with all your team will make a good place to chat about Buffy and Angel

Lol I like the new look - it'll take a while to get used to though 🙂 Welcome to the new admin, and congrats to Buffy Summers, I know you'll do an amazing job 🙂 (oh and do we get bigger parties in chat now *g* )
 
I don't know my feelings on the new organization of the boards/categories. It seems like I have to click through 2 and 3 different links before I can actually post/read in the forum that I'm looking for.

And I liked buffybytes.com ;P I'm not changing my button on account o you guys mucking around with the name, hehe. It'll still link to buffybytes.com as well, so don't loose the domain name or I'll have to change the address on EVERY page on my spike site. I'm lazy, don't do that to me.

I think it's just probably a case of having to get used to it again.

And welcome to all the new mods/administrators. 🙂

Try using the 'Forum Jump' drop down menu, that's in each forum, as it lists all the forums, including sub-forums - it's an easier way to navigate round the boards.🙂🙂
 
We don't expect you to change your buttons - as I said in my post, buffybytes.com is still the "actual" address. We just will be referring to it as buffy boards, as that is what most people have been calling it anyway.

My feeling on the forums is that having so many on the main page is just very cluttered. The major categories are still there, with some of the smaller forums combined.

Thanks for the shortcut, Anya 🙂

I was planning on designing some 100x35 buttons that advertise this site, then posting them in the geek-forum for people to place on their own websites. Would it be preferable to have the button read buffybytes.com or buffy-boards.com? I noticed that both addresses will lead a user to the boards.
