1. His real name is Jamie Augusto Richards III. He was the first American-born child in his Panamanian family. He changed his name at age 14 because no one outside his family could pronounce it. His b-day is August 28, born in Washington, D.C.
2. He has always wanted to be an actor. He's studied at USC on scholarships and grants. While he was there he met George Hertzberg (Adam) and Danny Strong (Jonathan). George and J. remain good friends today.
3. His mom originally wanted him to be either a lawyer or a priest.
4. In his spare time J. likes to paint and look at stars.
5. J. has had parts on the Cosby Show, West Wing, Temptations movie, The Practice, Chicago Hope, Sliders, Space: Above & Beyond, etc.
6. J. is currently dating actress Tangi Miller of Felicity fame.
7. He claims to have a Spidey sense. "I can't count the number of times something strange has happened to me. I have Spidey sense all night and day. It amazes my friends sometimes because I can tell so much about people the instant I meet them." He says.
8. He models the character Gunn after one of his friends that he plays chess with. He loves doing research for roles that he plays.
