Some party assistance please

Ok so I am helping to throw a 'Friday the 13th' party tomorrow, and need some ideas. We've already got some decorations up, but I could use a few more ideas as to what we should do with the place for tomorrow night

Also could use some 'creepy' music ideas for tomorrow night...

Party ideas? How about Salt Shaker Obstacle Course like where you have people walk around and try to not knock them over. Or put a whole buncha latters all over and some fake black cats (or real ones) all over. Just my ideas. 🙂
 
hehe, we're putting a ladder in front of the front door so you have to walk under it to get inside! People are probably gonna be a little too intoxicated for an obstacle course though...

Maybe you could rent old horror movies like Dracula and the Wolfman and stuff and just have those playing. Or maybe just the Friday the 13th movie (or movies? was there more than one?)

Are you thinking creepy music or like hard core metal music of the modern horror themes?

Other than that, black cats, number 13's, "cracked" mirrors and opened umbrellas inside maybe?
 
I forgot about the mirrors and umbrellas! OH! GOOD IDEA!

How about before anyone leaves you have to shut the lights off and have them "summon" Bloody Mary!!!
 
Hey...heard this thing on the radio...apparently if you have 13 letters in your name you have the devil's luck (like Jack the Ripper, Charles Manson and Theodore Bundy).

Creepy huh?

It's already Friday the 13th here, pretty much every media outlet is sprewing of superstitious knowledge 🙂
 
talking more hardcore music I guess, but still stuff you can dance too. Got some white zombie already and some other stuff too. We're definately gonna play 'the shining' on TV and probably Friday the 13th after that...

ooh, and the mirror in the bathroom has REDRUM written on it with fake blood dripping down it! It's soo cool

kinda needing ideas for the living room (the main room), the only thing we have so far is fake spiders hanging from the ceiling in there and Howard, our gigantic friendly halloween monster who carries around a scythe...will defianately have to make some broken mirrors though !

How about red punch (non-alcoholic, of course *snerk*) and spiderwebs or black cloth with shreds ripped through so that it looks like something clawed through it?

Except the punch should be thick because real blood is thick.

Well, it's not "thick" but it's denser than water and regular punch.

umm...the punch has already been tampered with! Don't worry, it's a 21 and over party only...I'll probably be the youngest one there!

Any songs in particular? I don't listen to much of that...
 
Umm...I don't know really..I only have a few of those in my collection (not much of a metal chick myself). I guess I'd suggest you check out Last.fm or something. They have 30 second samples of most of their songs so you can decide which ones you might want to use.

You've spiked the punch! Egads! Actually...it's kinda weird thinking that you have to wait to 21....the legal age in Australia is 18, so I've had a lot of time to practice holding my liquor! 😛
