Giles kiss the librarian coffee mug was funny. A continuations of the excellent multi handed dialogue scene
Buffy ; "Spike and i are getting married"
Xander shockingly said "how?,what? ,how?.And Giles said "Three excellent questions" Comdy legend this epsiode is ...
Do you agree...

Ha yeah classic episode 🙂

and Hilarious that Buffy is engaged to Spike! especially when they hate each other with a passion.. and they're getting married.
Funny ;D

I love this quote everytime. I wacth this episode it makes my frown upside down...

Buffy: How 'bout a daytime ceremony. In the park.

Spike: Fabulous. Enjoy your honeymoon with the big pile of dust.

Buffy: Under the trees. Indirect sunlight, only

Spike: Warm breeze tosses the leaves aside, and again — you're registering as Mr and Mrs Big-Pile-of-Dust".
🙂!

I love how Willow made them lush cookies at the end of the show, it looks really yummy lol ...

I loved it when they figured out the curse, and Buffy said she must be immune since she's the slayer. ha! Immune, yep.

Maybe she WAS immune to the curse, but not Spike's charms. And what girl doesn't dream of an engagement ring with a skull on it?
I liked when Giles was blind and Spike a Buffy are kissing and he says, "Stop that! I can hear the smacking!" 😉 This episode has so many great moments. No matter how many times I have seen this episode it always cracks me up.

I remember the first time I saw this episode, I was so shocked. I was like, WHAT? Buffy and Spike, ENGAGED? No way! Joss, you're ridiculous! That was the moment I became a Spuffy shipper, when I saw how pretty they looked together.

James has said on numerous occassions that this was one of his favorite episodes to work on at that point, because he was kissing Sarah. 😉

Me too! I thought, "Hey, look at Buffy and Spike together. Too cute!" Never got over it, lol.

I also started shipping Spuffy with this episode!
Absolutely a Comedy legend!

But, IMO, season 4 contained some of the funniest Buffy episodes ever, any way. Something Blue is just icing on the cake!

I love when Xander is testing giles by waving his fingers in his face, and Giles says something like "stop that... you smell like fruit rollups..."

And when Buffy runs into Riley, and is telling him about Spike, and Riley's like "Does he go to school with us?" and Buffy replies "who, Spike? No! He's like totally old!... well, not as old as my last boyfriend..."

Buffy: You guys didn't like Angel at first either.
Spike: You said you weren't going to say that name.
Buffy: Sorry. Why don't we talk about where we're going to register?
Spike: Well, where would Angel like to register? And can we have the photographer Angel would have wanted and the flowers Angel would have liked?
Buffy: Hey, like I don't have the shadow of Drusilla over my head. Like I'm not going to be wondering if you're thinking of her on our honeymoon when you're making sweet love to me.

I thought that was so hilarious and is actually pretty iconic since they do end up together and the issue of Angel being her first love and Drusilla being his first love did come up. And the way her voice changed for the "making sweet love to me" part was priceless!

I love when Riley asked what her fiance's name was and she said "Spike" and the look on his face and the way he said "wow" was so funny.

yeah I love the Angel part!!! Spike is always jealous of Angel when it comes to Buffy!!!
IMO the funniest episode of the series. Love Spike and Buffy planning their wedding, Buffy's confrontation with Riley, Xander's "Can I be blind too?" I also always get a kick out of the last line where Spike says 'I'm not the one who wanted Wind Beneath my Wings for the first dance' , they all look at Buffy and she says 'That was the spell..'

I liked Willow's "Speak no evil" t-shirt. She wore a peace sign on her shirt when she was against killing the Shumash warriors in Pangs. ha ha

Spike was going through her clothes when they were all in the dorm room. "Wear this to the Rehearsal dinner and the whole things off."

That comment by Buffy about her being immune.
Maybe that was a portent of what was to come! That she secretly did like Spike.

Of Xander's 'can I be blind as well' ... he got half his wish later on.

yikes... good one!
Spike (re: the little groom): I don't like him. He's insipid. Clearly human.

I loved blind Giles. "Stop whatever it is you are doing. You smell like Fruit Roll-ups."

Anyway, it was an amusing episode. 🙂

Spike:This is the crack team that foils my every plan? I'm deeply shamed.

Was this the first episode that had a male villain tell Buffy she didn't have the balls, ahem, "stones" to kill them? At least she didn't mutilate Spike's cajones the way she did Caleb's. ha ha

I felt so sorry for Amy. Literally two seconds as a human again and then bam she is back to whiskers and pooing in a cage.

Eh, I wasn't hugely into it, I found The Life of the Party to be a lot better. 🙂 I guess that my favorite part was the Spike/Buffy storyline (which includes Riley, he was hilarious in this episode), especially the moment when the spell wears off. Now THAT is good stuff. 😀

Ew!!! Why did you make me think of Angel/Eve sex?

Angel/Eve sex in turn brings up what was possibly the best line that Hamilton had in the whole season "...and the chances of you and me ending up on the couch..." Now, THERE'S an image that you just can't help shuddering at.
Yeah, it's not a very pleasant line of thinking, is it? 🙁

Especially since Eve is a fifth grader in the body of a... Fifth grader. 😀

Still, everything was really well-written and hilarious: Gunn "Marking his territory", drunk Wes and Fred, cheery Spike, etc. :biggrin3: I found Something Blue to be pale in comparison. I mean, Giles blind? Who cares! I don't see the humor. (Lol, punny...) :biggrin3:
