Loved this episode. I really wanna watch this now. Once I get home, it's a season 4 rewatch. Really, I need to go through all of it again. Bullie for me. I own them.

This is one of my favourite episodes!
 
I've got to watch it again, I'm laughing my head off just reading some of the recollections here.

The funniest part for me with the whole father/daughter relationship is how disgusted Giles gets over the affair.

This one is absolutely awesome. I laugh through the whole thing (except when I'm annoyed at Willow). My favorite was blind Giles and Buffy and Spike's dialogue. My husband didn't find it as amusing as I, though.
 
Just re-watched this yesterday! It's absolutely fantastic...I laugh so hard when Xander says: "Can I be blind too?" and his initial reaction to Spuffy getting married, I love the sweet moment between Buffy and Giles and how Riley is shocked Buffy's getting married...and Buffy's face when she says: "Spike" when Riley asks the name of the groom. Serious comedy gold. I noticed Buffy seemed kind of annoyed when Willow joined her and Riley (who in these episodes is quite sweet and nice, I admit)...but it's really hard when a friend suffer that way and you can just be there for them..you don't know what to say or what to do..because there is nothing to say or do. I don't blame Buffy because in that moment she was on a date and I think she was more embarassed than bothered and she had slayer duty...but I feel very sorry for Willow...poor cute little thing.

like the bit with xander "whatever you're doing in front of me, stop it. you smell like fruit rollups" LOL 🙂
 
We watch this one a lot (since my daughter is young)...this is her 2nd favorite ep (behind OMWF). I also like the "I accidentally killed Spike...that's ok, right?"

Questions I hope someone can help me with:
1. What happens to the ring Spike gives Buffy?
2. Do all vampires eat? In "I will Remember you" I recall Angel saying something about food and being able to eat it now as a human (implying he didn't/couldn't as a vamp), but Spike is often eating food...?

They talk about it later in some ep, too, but they CAN eat/drink, but there isn't much of a taste to it and it doens't nurish them at all.
I haven't seen this one in ages! I'm gunna watch it now, it's so funny! XD

I love the bit when Buffy is teasing Spike with her blood-pumping neck and Giles just rolls his eyes. 🙄

I completely agree! But that was too short a response, so I really really really really agree. this episode makes me giggle with happiness every time
