Something we wouldn't know about you?

Obviously some of these depends on if you know me a lot or not, but... The general BB population won't know that:

- I'm French Canadian.
- I'm lactose intolerant.
- I'm a big fan of Rafael Nadal.
- I'm also a big fan of André Agassi.
- My favorite movie ever is ''The Return of the King''.
- I used to be a big Starwars nerd. 😛
- I adore koalas.
- I love singing and listening to music so much I usually sing 2-3 hours a day.
- I normally dislike sweet food. Cakes or pies for example.
- Whenever I can, I walk to my destination instead of using my car.
- I used to have a teddy bear and it gave me so many nightmares I ripped it to pieces when I was 5.
- I only *fell in love* once. The girl though was not interested and I've lost sight of her since then. 🙁
- My two very best friends are girls. One of them is my mother, the other is someone I randomly met in high school.
- I'm usually very Angel-like around people I barely know. But I'm the total opposite around friends/family.
- I'm bossy.
- I'm very passionated about things I like or people I love.
- I always thought of cool names to give to pets I had... But ended up giving them boring and generic ones.(Totally gonna change the next time I get one!)
- I thought BtVS was nothing special when I first watched back in 1997.
- I'm terrible at drawing... You couldn't find someone who'd do worse.
- I used to think I'd make it to the NHL(professional hockey league) when I was a kid.
- I have this thing where 90% of my friends are usually from a different culture. Speaking of which... I love differences.
- I used to be so tin people would be worried about me.
- I totally had a crush on Natalie Portman when 'The Phantom Menace' came out. Now, not so much.
- My idol when I was a teenager was a fictional character named Drizzt Do'Urden. I loved his story.
- I'm a huge fan of italian food!
- I often sleep with music on.
- I have a twin. 😛

That's what I could think of at the moment!

Irish accent love! But I can never tell a Canadian accent from a US one...
- I was born with an awful lot of hair for a new-born

- I was very intelligent when I was a kid. I remember when I registered in primary school at five, the headmaster was mouth wide open when he showed me drawings in his book and he expected me to say "that is a planet" like any child but I said "That is Saturn". I actually had seen that on television, but I remembered it. I learned to read extremely quick and read popularized books on history, science, astrology and mythology, or I was watching things on television about those subjects. I didn't have to study for school as I was "recording" in my head anything the teacher said. Those were awesome times, now I seem to be at a more normal intellect level. Which means I have to work more. What a decay.

- I have like radars. I have a radar for 'dangerous people' or people I'll have problems with in the future. That thing inside of me that says "KSSSSSSSS. PERSON SMELLS BAD, BAD, BAD". And I'm always right! But it happened once that I didn't feel anything while the person was like the devil. I also have a radar for gay girls. But it doesn't work with boys. Honestly, you can put in front of me the gayest man on the planet and I won't see he is gay, I'll just think it's an effiminate boy.
I also have a weirdo-radar. Like "That girl seems to be asocial. And this guy looks like a dealer-junkie. We'll get along great!". And those are generally the people I get along the most with, those who had the weird factor.

- For some reasons, gays and younger people adore me. I remember in High School, I had really younger acquaintances who would come to say hi to me and make signs to their friends who looked like that: "😱". It was the same on primary school. I never got it because, okay, it's always cool to know older people when you are young, but I was not in the cool crowd, I was in the weirdo crowd (and proud of it!)

- When I was younger, my mum was scared I was going to get eaten in this world because I was being such a naive, candide Care Bear all the time. I actually do fine in society even tough I'm still very candide. People often think they can use me as much as they want, ask me anything, do anything they want with me, and they are often surprise when I say "Er, no." They always seem surprised to see that I may be nice, I'm not half stupid as I look. SURPRISE!

- I discovered I was very into "positive egoisme". People think I help, listen to people because I'm just very nice but in fact, it's because of my empathy. Empathy makes me feel people's pain. So that makes me in pain. And I don't want to be in pain. So I make things better. Well that's the way it started but it became much more natural.

- I have an unwavering optimism. It's almost extraterrian to be that optimistic. It doesn't mean I can't recognize a lost cause when I see one, but it never stops me from seeing positive sides or less negative sides (big nuance). It's quite handy when I have friends who think they'll fail an exam, for example, because I have a positive thing to say to every single negative thing they have to say. So they don't have the choice but to admit that "okay, things are not that terrible"

- I talk so much about karma and chakras and positive vibes that people start talking about these too and believing in them.

- I seem to often have an incredible luck. Like having the job I want easily, having the last camera on sale,...Okay, those are the only example I have right now, but it often happens that I have such a luck I wonder if I don't have a leprechaun near me :tongue3:

- Too much sugar makes me look highly drunk. And I can't hold my liquor.

- People often ask me "Don't you ever sleep?" and "What did you smoke?" and "Are you drunk?". Then again, it must be the sugar.

- I'm shy with strangers, but I'm almost mute when a very, very charismatic person talks to me. I didn't realized it until I talked to a friend, giving name of people that impressed me so much I was almost terrified and she said "There are all very charismatic person, you seem to be more terrified by that kind of person!"

- I used to be very autodidact with computers and langages, but I kind of lost that a bit too.

- I was always interested in woman's history.

- I always attract obsessed guys, perverts, psychos. Trouble-magnet?

- I can talk about anything.

- Oh, and I'm not good at giving people short answers. I think I talk too much.

- And last but not least, I'M INSANELY OBSESSED WITH BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER!

As I repped, you and I sound quite similar! I'm probably the girlier, younger version of you, lol! 😛

Let's see...

I also have a habit of attracting very weird people. Especially the "social outcast" type. And bossy people, which I hate.

I'm not an outcast though, lol. I'd say that I'm part girly, part intellectual, part sporty, and part fun! Mostly fun. 😀 Although I do lecture people quite often. 😉 There are a lot of facets to my personality, which means that I bond with all sorts of people, and I'm never ever bullied in any way. 🙂

I love how many of you are preparing for the zombie apocalypse. Max brooks = my hero. One of them at least.

for a class project for the ONLY business class I ever took in college, my group researched opening a ' natural' cemetery and green burial. Guess I'm not the only morbid one though!

I have a buffy tattoo

I can snap my toes like people snap their fingers

I can also pinch with my toes and pick things up with them

I hate the yankees

You know why I was dissapointed with the Zombie Survival Guide? The only people who hadn't already thought of all that stuff probably wouldn't buy the book.
I'm always thinking of more.

- I go through moments where I'm so blue (depressed / down.) But I won't ever come out and say this how I feel. Most of the time, I won't talk about it.
- I use to self harm. Really told no one about it. No one in family knew either.

Self harm karma. Okay, that sounds wrong. You know what I mean tho, right? I hope you do. /shuts self up.

1. I am absolutely and irrationally terrified of ostriches. I will cry if I have to be near one.

2. I got punched in the face once during a fight between two clients at work when I worked at a juvie program.

3. I've participated in a man hunt for an escaped criminal. In the woods. At night. Unarmed. In retrospect, it wasn't my best choice.

4. I hate roses. I think they are ugly. I prefer sunflowers.

5. I can get lost anywhere. I got lost in the jungle in Guatemala once, but I get lost in less dramatic ways on a daily basis.

I suffer quite badly from bipolar disorder but the people mostly likely to notice my crashes are people on the internet - I either go crazy with posting in a manic phase or it's the only place I can tell people I feel down/suicidal during a depressive phase. I cycle very rappidly too (sometimes it can be half hour between opposite peaks) although it's mostly days or AM/PM.

Bi polar karma. Mostly its people online who get the best and the worst of me too.
I think there are many things you guys couldn't possibly know...
But some you can look up in my profile. Anyway...

-I have pretty long hair. About 22" long.

-If you saw me, you would guess I only listen to metal, but I like many different kinds of music.
Blues, jazz, rock, blues rock, hard rock, funk, classical music (especially film scores)...
But still, my favorite band is Iron Maiden.

-As mentioned above I'm a huge Iron Maiden fan. I have about 40 CDs/LPs/DVDs and this summer I'm gonna go to three concerts🙂

-I'm a coffee drinker. Today I had about 4 cups...

-Although I'm from Germany I watch nearly everything in English. All movies, all TV shows.

-I love The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

-I play the guitar and have three electric and two acoustic guitars.

-I love animals, but I have no pets.

-I'm a fan of old Movies. (For example Alfred Hitchcock)

-My favorite actors are Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, Jack Nicholson, Al Pacino and Jeff Goldblum and my favorite actresses are Alyson Hannigan and Julianne Moore.

I hate it too! I prefer texting or speaking face-to-face.
I love talking about religion and politics, even though they are controversial topics in general, because I like to explain my opinion on things and hear others explain their opinions as well.

I love it too, it's interesting to know exactly why the other thinks what he thinks, just out of curiosity and not judgement :D
I haaaate kissing (besides my dog lol) and I haaate romance when it's not Spuffy.

M
Ms.Trick
I'v never kissed anybody or being kissed, and most of the time, it looks disgusting on television! (except with some like Johnny Depp or Ewan Mcgregor or James Marsters who seem to be good kissers :D)

romance is icky. At least the kind that is portrayed on TV and that we are all supposed to like. Kissing is ok, I just prefer to do it with girls.
E

I can relate to the romance part, but why do you hate kissing? Sorry, I'm curious. :-P
I like to offend people, I like to say stuff and do stuff that people find offensive. I don't know why.

I do that sometimes IRL too. It's interesting to watch people freak out

I do too, but I don't do it to be offensive, I just want to find out whether people get my sense of humour.

I do the same, mainly just to see their reactions.

That's nice. When I was in school, I liked scratching the blackboard with my nails to annoy others who can't listen to the scratching sounds 😀

Username agrees: I hate it too! I always sound really rude on the phone, I don't mean to be but it's just cos I hate so much..

Totally! I sound either like a baby because I'm hesistant and I have a baby voice or rude because my sarcastic voice is just really rude without my good-girl smile!

Totally! I sound either like a baby because I'm hesistant and I have a baby voice or rude because my sarcastic voice is just really rude without my good-girl smile!

My smile is the kind you don't know if I'm smiling or faking it. Because my lips are tilted downwards when I smile and I look fake.

Mcgregor or James Marsters who seem to be good kissers )
So true!!! I always think to myself that JM looks like a good kisser. Probably because he's pouting!

M
Ms.Trick
Pouting
And my smile is kind of permanent and unconscious! I remember once, a guy I was working with kept talking to me about the "intense sexual tension" we had (eek) and I was telling him "What part don't you understand in "Ew. Stop talking, or the only tension you'll feel will be the one of my punch on your face". And he said "That's not convicing if you say that smiling".

I wasn't smiling. I was being (almost) polite. But because of that stupid smile, people don't know when I'm just getting cranky.

LMAO, your response was perfect!! :D
I've been told pretty much my whole life I give amazing hugs. I put just the right pressure in just the right places. And I've been told hugging me is one heck of an experience. Which is great, because I LOVE to give hugs. But every time I hug someone for the first time they freak out because I give amazing hugs... and it gets a little sad hearing it all the time. Because I want to feel what it's like. I keep giving these fantastic hugs but I never get to feel what everyone freaks out about. That's part of why I want to meet and hug JM so bad... he looks like he would give WICKED AWESOME hugs. And I want to feel what it's like to get that kind of hug, ya know?

M

Poor zo. I kinda wanna hug you now.
I am the "good and responsible" girl at my school and would not do anything to get in trouble, ever. Oh how looks can lie.
