Something weird in "Spin the Bottle"

I was just wondering why when Cordy turned 17 she didn't know about all this mystical stuff... I mean when she was 17 it was probably around her Junior year in High School, which is S2 of Buffy, so wouldn't she know all about all this weird stuff... OH! And she would also kno who Angel was too!

I think they were all reverted to about sixteen years old give or take. I mean Wesley mentions being Head Boy which you can only be in your last year of High School which in England would make him sixteen, unless he went to a sixth form high school combine thing which would make him eighteen I guess...I'm not quite sure how that works.
And we know Angel was returned to an age he was before he was made a vampire and I think he was supposedly somewhere between 18 and 21 when that happened so again, let's presume sixteen.

So if that is the case then Cordy would have had only her memories up to her Sophomore year I suppose. And she only found out about spooky stuff at the very end of that year, so it's perfectly legitimate that she would have been sent mentally back to a point before she knew of all things spooky.

Well, I could've sworn Fred (maybe someone else) said she was 17 though... Like remember when she said, "We all look a little old to be 17." (I think she said that...)

EDIT: I just looked on Wikipedia and it said that Angel was reverted back to 1753 Liam, so I subtracted 1753 from 2002 and got 249. Now the only problem is that I don't know how old Angel was on that episode...

Okaym I've looked up the transpcript of the episode and this is what I've found.

CORDELIA:It's called kidnapping a minor, hair club for men.

Cordy is, apparently, under 18, which would make her 17, and put her somewhere in her Junior year. Right? Unless she was held back a year! lol

Fred:Not one of y'all looks exactly seventeen. It's like time's been pushed forward, like we missed a bunch of years.

The Fred quote someone mentioned. But no one has actually said at this point that they are 17, just Cordy's statment about being a minor.

EDIT: I just looked on Wikipedia and it said that Angel was reverted back to 1753 Liam, so I subtracted 1753 from 2002 and got 249. Now the only problem is that I don't know how old Angel was on that episode...

If you trust Wikipedia it also says this. "Born in 1727, Liam (no surname given) was born to a middle-class linen merchant in Galway, Ireland. By 1753, at the age of 26, he develops a taste for alcohol, women and sloth."

I know that you in one episde sees his gravestone so it wouldn´t be hard to confirm the date of birth. But sadly enough I don´t remember which episode it is.

That said. On Wikipedia anyone can write so it doensn´t mean it has to be true. And the other sad thing is that that the Buffy-series contains loads of mistakes if you think logically. Not that I mind, I still love the show. But it´s the truth. Not a real answer I guees, just a little input.

It's interesting though that with those mistakes we can have these discussions to try to make logical sense out of them and hey, with a show that can make almost anything possible out of it, it really lets the imaginations fly.
