Somethings That Are a Pain to Read

When people talk of the fish life below the sea, the sea is more than the surface of the water, below the sea is land.

What do you dislike seeing or reading?

It always irks me when a news report anthropomorphizes cars. For instance, "The driver was injured when his car hit a tree," as if the car was acting of its own accord! Of course, if it had happened on BtVS, there might be some nefarious factor at work, but in real life, it's usually the driver's doing.

I often have the words said on a television program appear in the written word on the TV screen, I really hate it when the stupid TV News programs go on about soldiers having sacrificed their lives in a battle.
How dare the journalist suggest a soldier committed suicide in a battle.
