haha that's funny 'cause I was just thinking about how this part of the original lyrics for Sparks Fly fits Spuffy. The bolded part especially. I love the bolded part so much. I kind of wish she'd kept it

It just always pops into my head when they're together for some reason... maybe because Buffy says 'stay with me' to Angel in her dream on the beach (I think)?

That line certainly does fit better with Spike than Riley. I just like to think of Riley as second best instead of Spike. 😛
