songs that remind you of characters

i saw someone in another section asked people what songs reminded them of the fred/wes ship and that got me thinking of songs that reminded me of other characters or relationships. Here are a couple i thought of:

Biology by Girls Aloud reminds me of Drusilla because it is very girly bit a bit sexy too.

Hamburg Song by Keane reminds me of Season six Spike because its sort of sad and about a one sided relationship and also, Your Eyes Open, also by Keane is another good Buffy/Spike season 6 relationship song.

The song Haunted by Poe reminds me of Cordelia and Spike because of a video I saw on YouTube. Here it is if anyone wants to see it. It's the best Buffyverse video I've ever seen. I even put it on my Ipod.

'Out of This World' by Bush always reminds me of the Spuffy ship...might be becuase it's the song that plays in 'Dead Things' but i'm no sure. 😉

'the scientist' by coldplay is a willow/tara song for me :heart:; it works for that ship. ive seen a lot of vidders use it for many of the ships though.

Wow, they've made a great vid with Spike and Cordilia. I haven't realized they had so much in common!

Most of the songs I come up with are from fan vids, like for example:

1) Within Temptations - Jane Doe. Reminds me of black-eyed Willow

2) Puddle of Mudd - She hates me. It is soooo Spike and so much fun, I always grin when I hear the song!

3) Meredith Brooks - I'm a b*tch. I just love this song and it fits Buffy pretty good too 😛

first there's his music box melodies on the Angel Sanctuary soundtrack that remind me of Tara, they're sweet

Dreamer - Dinand WoesthoffThis always remind me of Tara and Willow.its actually a song a Dutch artist wrote for his wife after she died from cancer(she's the one in the video)

post modern sleaze - the sneaker pimps reminds me of Faith, the music video sometimes gets paused for bits of acting, there's another video which is the opening of a Belgian tv series about women trade that features the song, but I must warn you, there is nudity, since the intro shows pole dancers...

as for spike... Half life also by the sneaker pimps its a little spuffy season 6 ish... you'll know what I mean or even Black sheep

Xander and Anya... My best wasn't good enough - Kane (a little bangel too 🙂)

and Xander gets a special one... this is a Dutch hip hop song and the title is 'Watskeburt', its not an actual word but it means something along the lines of 'Whats up?" and its about sone guy that never knows whats going on, it gets a little boring after a while, but I associate it with xander. Other then that... robbie williams music definately!

and Anya, I find her having huge Kylie Minogue quality, they even look and sound a little alike ...

oh, also, i like 'head over feet' from alanis morisette for willow and oz too! it just has this sweet, cute, happy quality, like their relationship was, and kind of talks about how the guy cares for the the girl, and oz cares about her so much. it also describes what is like how willow feels when she sees oz, and it is just really sweet...yes, i know i already said that 😛...i cant describe this well and i am weird today :silly:.

You'll probably laugh at my choice of songs, but the first tome i heard Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For A Hero," I immediately thought of Buffy and Spike. Then, in the famous "fade to black" scene in the basement in "Chosen," I was reminded of one of my mother's favorite songs, a Ray Price song called "Help Me Make It Through The Night," which I'm sure none of you have ever heard.
