Soothing sounds

Maybe not quite as soothing as you mean but they do bring a smile to my face, the sound of pigs wandering through squidgy mud.

I love the sound of the train and trucks passing, I know it sounds weird but I am half deaf and it reminds me of waves on a still bay. Not constant and a big one every so often. I love the way the wind swirls and the air clears (I hate it when they park and leave the engine on but going past is lovely). I have lived across the dunes from the ocean and I'd choose the train/trucks over living along that coast as the night winds howled and the salt wind stung and damaged everything. In saying that, the noise is still few and far between until harvest is in full swing hehe. A still bay is another story 😀

Bamboo wind chimes are pleasant sounding. Not sure I would call them soothing.

In addition to silence, another soothing sound is that of dogs snoring.

Rain, the sound of the ocean, gusts of wind, even a softer version of that sound you get when you put a seashell to your ear. Even a person humming can be soothing. Fun thread!

I wouldn't even call them pleasant sounding. I'd take a pair of scissors and cut the strings, same with metal ones.

Dogs are so cute when they do their version of sleep talking.

As long as the dawn chorus doesn't involve a cock. I am so tired of the cock waking me up every morning. That thing is so persistent.
