Am I the only one going completely bananas being equally hyped and sad that the last 9 episodes are currently airing?
Anyone watching?

I swear, for me, the end of this series will be like my family being blown up the day my girlfriend leaves me and kills my dog.
 
Nope, I too will be gutted - another great show comes to an end (plus I love Tony - dontcha just want to cuddle him?!)

Fortunately it's not yet being aired in the UK, so I can wait for a bit before I begin wailing. 🙁
 
It's kinda more than "cult TV".

I mean, from now till the end of time it'll be on every "best shows ever" list, to the dismay of everyone who does not like it.
 
Yup I agree with you - just using it as a catch all for the good stuff only a few people see! (and usually HBO!)
 
I don't know if it is THE BEST tv show, but it is certainly the best art in motion. I don't think there has ever been anything on tv quite in the same league as it. There are episodes that I have felt like I am watching a master painting being crafted like Van Gogh's Sunflowers instead of a tv show. I can imagine that some people only think of it as some gangster crime drama. Some people are blind.

I am disappointed that it is coming to an end, but I am happy that it will finally be completed. That the fine detail is being put in place. To me, it is more a framing than an ending.
 
I agree with the framing thing.
And the BEST TV show, I'll guess it's status will be similar to The Godfather or Casablanca, I could name movies I consider better but there's really no point in arguing when someone says one of 'em is "the best".
 
I started watching it but got tiered of hearing the F*** word every 30 seconds. I am now watching it on A&E. The change the work to freaking or something.

I've never seen The Sopranos...I was considering trying to find a way to watch season one. I don't want to watch A&E copies because everyone says it's like watching a completely different show. But it doesn't look like the type of show that would ever be on my top favorites, and I hope it's better than the mob movies I've seen, because mob movies suck.
