SOS: Save our Spuffies

Ok we've all heard of this crazy adopt a bangel campaign, so I think we need one of our own.

We know in the long run it will be all Bangel, all the time. And with the big Spuffy reunion in Season 8, being not such a big reunion, I believe the Spuffies will come to their senses (it was only a matter of time), and we'll begin see the deconstruction of their 'Ship.

We should be welcoming to them, and greet them into the fold with open arms, and a cookie - for symbolism, and help in anyway we can to let them experience Bangel in all it's glory.

Try not to rub it in, we are a classy people, just encourage them.

Together we can Save the Spuffies.

If OUR version was "Crazy", then isn't it a bit hypocritical to make your own and not say that it's crazy? 😉

Yep probably will be Bangel. The thing about Spuffy is.. The journey is more important than the ending. It's not about where you get; it's about how you get there.

And we will never stop loving Spuffy... SO ya might as well give up now!

Now, I was Bangel for a month.. And it wasn't that bad if I'm totally honest. But I've learned that Spuffy is the only 'ship for me. Out of Spuffy and Bangel. So I shall NOT be deconstructed!

Well, I'm on the verge of giving up on shipping Spuffy. I don't think I could bring myself to shipping Bangel though... Just... no...

I totally dig Spike, sometimes I think he deserves better than Buffy's crap. Maybe Angel and Buffy deserve each other? Always with the drama and their inferiority/superiority complexs.

I thought I was a pretty die hard Spuffy... But after the crapness of the comics I'm not so sure...

I actually felt this way when I first joined BB. I still do. Spike deserves better than Buffy... but in the "who should Buffy be with" sense... I'm a total Spuffy and Spuffy was my favorite ship to watch.

In all fairness to Bangel though, I can see why people ship Bangel and if I didn't dislike Angel so much and adore Spike so much... I might give it a shot.

Unfortunately, Spuffy is so much worse than a dodgy ship. It's a disease. Once you've been infected with Spuffy Cooties, there really is no hope. So many have been lost already...

All we can really do is make them as comfortable as possible: a punch in the nose here, a snarky comment there. They seem to respond well to this treatment.
