So here's the part where you make a choice: What if you could have that power...now? In every generation, one ship is born... because a bunch of fangirls who died thousands of posts ago made up that rule. They were powerful fans. This ship is more powerful than all of them combined. So I say we change the rule. I say my power should be our power. Tomorrow, Willow will use the essence of the Claddagh ring to change our destiny. From now on, every person who could be Bangel, will be Bangel. Every person who could have power, will have power. Can't stand up...will stand up.

I've been having a crisis with my Spuffy faith as of late and I believe this thread has given me the answer I so yearned for. So bearing that in mind I now proclaim I am no longer a Spuffy shipper.

From this day forward I will in fact ship...SMG/JM; the undeniable love story of James and Sarah; I do realize that in current "canon" she's been married to this Freddie Prinze guy and they have a child; but I'm still holding out hope.

also, I don't really think Bangel is the huge beautiful love story everyone makes it out to be. That last line is important and I agree, but I honestly don't see Bangel as that much of a "straight up love story."

Seriously for a minute , folks, regardless of what ship you might sail on, I think that it says a lot for the members and the spirit of the Buffy boards that we can have so much fun with a topic like this, that we all feel so strongly about, without getting angry, sarcastic, rude, or just plain nasty about it. There are other forums on the internet, and I'm sure that at least some of us can bear witness to this, just as I can, from first hand experience, where by now at least half of the members would be snapping back and forth at each other like a couple of caged animals. Thankfully, this isn't one of those places, thanks to the efforts of the staff and the support of the members in general. You're all a bunch of great folks, and I'm proud to be associated with you.

Oh, honey. 🙂 All those images mean something in the Spuffy relationship. 😀 Also, Buffy didn't want to kill Spike when she was under the spell in "Something Blue," or in that back step scene. She could have slapped away his hand when he tried to comfort her, but she didn't. She stayed and sat outside with him. All together now...sigh 🙂

That's true, when Spuffy falls Bangel will most likely be tucked away somewhere, making with the happy. Repeatedly. (sw) They'll hardly have time to pick up all the broken Spuffy pieces.

Can we interest you in this lifetime's supply of glue instead? Should put you all back together. 😛
