That's a tough one. I'll stick to ones that focus on her development as a Slayer, though it might make for a rather gloomy collection!

Prophecy Girl - Buffy has to confront the true cost of being a Slayer.

Becoming, Part 2 - Buffy tells her mom that she's a Slayer and has to deal with the fallout of that.

Faith, Hope, and Trick or Bad Girls, or one of the early Faith episodes which highlights their different experiences as Slayers.

Going back and forth with a number of options, so I'll just be lazy and say Chosen, since that's the grand finales and all the Potentials are activated.

I would include "Angel," as it pretty much sets up the entire Buffy & Angel relationship, and is otherwise a good episode. I mean, you want to encourage people to buy the Season Sets and watch the syndication run.
