Soulless humans?

So, as I'm rewatching Chosen. I started thinking [and yes, my head hurts much now], what would happen if someone removed the soul from a human?

Would they act as vamps do, minus the superpowers, of course?

What do you suppose they'd do?
 
Erm, i can't remember but didnt the boy in the Angel episode 'I've got you under my skin' have no soul...if so, all you need to do is watch that episode to see what a soulless human would be and how terrifying he is.

Why not? You get to do whatever you want, just without fear of consequences.
That'd mean, you'd be robbing banks, raping women/men, etc...
 
I remember in the episode Living Conditions, Buffy's soul was getting sucked by Kathy which caused her to act bitchy and homicidal crazy. But Kathy wasn't able to get all of her soul so we don't really know how she would have acted without it.
 
I'd think without a soul they'd act like vampires (as in evil, no sucking) and if they ever did get their soul back, they'd react as Angel did, by either being shamed into suicide, or trying to repent.
 
Well.. That little boy in "ive got you under my skin" was very evil and mean. But The demon within him said that it was just Empty inside. That he felt nothing. So, i bet if someone was souless, they either kill themselves (like the little boy tried) or torture others so that they could feel anything but empty. Just a thought.
 
Ok, Im not so sure about this being evil thing.

First of all, all people that do have souls are not necessarily good. You still have evil people. So why wouldnt it work the other way round. For example, Spike wasnt particularly evil in season 6.

Also, Im fairly sure its been mentioned in Angel (not sure where) that there were some demons in that programme, that, while, soulless, were not evil. Just demons. I could be wrong about that though.

Thats my point. I dont think Clem has a soul (I could be wrong) but he's a good demon. In fact Im now 97% positive that its been mentioned someone didnt have a soul (Lorne maybe?) but is still good.
 
I've always questioned this with the vengence demons, Cuz from selfless we see Anya regretting her wish's which could mean Vengence demons would still have a soul, but becasue of whats happened to them they have no problem with reeking vengence on people.
 
I always considered that boy on the Angel episode "I've Got you under my skin", to be sort of like Michael Myers in "Halloween". He didn't have a soul, in fact he had nothing all that was there was evil.
 
yes, but evil can be considered the lack of good. Sometimes the unconcious mind can be the most evil thing in the world.

Not true. Vampires have no souls and are evil. When Angel got his soul back, no longer evil. So if people dont have souls, they can be evil.
 
Ok, but to be honest, I dont see how there would be a difference. A vampire is accepted as being evil because it is a demon and has no soul.
We can see from Angel, and later Spike, that when they get their sould back, they are still demons, but no longer evil.
However, like I said previously, this may not work for all vampires. Maybe it depends how they were as humans.
As far as I can tell, humans would be the same. No soul, evil. At least in most cases. I guess there may be the rare one.
For example, vengence demons etc. This is only speculation of course. I dont know for sure.

I just doubt its any differnet for humans, just because they dont have a demon in them. Just like the boy in "Ive Got You Under My Skin". He had no soul and was evil.
 
I think the point was that if there is nothing there then Evil can't be there.
If you are devoid of everything then anything you do is based on instinct and instinct alone can be neither good or evil.

I would also question that a Soul is not the Good/Evil decider for the very simple fact that the 'Soul' is something that apparently every human has, yet we know that there are some Humans that are evil even in this world.

Also, the question of the Demon Soul.
I have not heard any Demon say they are soulless except the Vampire, however if we assume that all Demons are then why are some Demons good?
